Been a rough start in Cleveland. I think thye fire Blatt before playoffs.

Cavaliers Status Update - LeBron James - Jan. 1

LeBron James was evaluated yesterday at Cleveland Clinic Sports Health by Richard D. Parker, MD, Cavaliers Head Team Physician. Tests included physical exam, radiographs and a MRI, the results of which revealed left knee and low back strains. These conditions will be treated via a multimodal approach consisting of anti-inflammatories, rehabilitation, training room treatments, and rest. LeBron is currently projected to be Out for the next 2 weeks.

Yikes! He's breaking down. Those minutes in Miami may shorten his career.

He really has not looked like the same player all season. He doesn't appear nearly as dominating. It is also evident that the old Bernstein argument of simply having him on your team makes you a title contender is pure fallacy at this point.

The Massive weight loss this summer raised red flags for me.

On paper they have a great offensive team. Defensively we all knew they would have issues. If he's healthy they still have a shot at coming out of the East. Love has been just what I thought he would be

They have a shot but they can't be considered a favorite. I don't know about the we all knew portion. I recall someone saying that Miami had the same rim protection issues and still were able to win.

Bosh would at least try and Wade was still solid. Kevin Love has always been one of the worst defenders in the league and Irving isn't much better. LeBron is the only guy that can play defense and he's lost a step.

A key pickup for Miami was Birdman. Birdman gave them shot blocking and toughness. I think James has always been overrated as a defender. He was a good but never great defender. This notion that he could guard five positions also needs to be debunked. If ever there were a time for him to guard centers it would be now.

This Cleveland thing has the potential to be a disaster. There are three players that can directly be traced to Lebron James that are giving the team nothing. James Jones Shawn Marion and Mike Miller are getting min. and none of the three have done anything. I wonder how the Lebron GM model is sitting with the other players on the team?

It didn't work out last time either. He wanted guys like Shaq and Larry Hughes to play with him.

Framework of trade being discussed is Dion Waiters to OKC, JR Smith to Cleveland and Reggie Jackson to Knicks, sources told ESPN

Cleveland trading one cancer for another one. GM Lebron not doing so well.

I don't see how Waiters is any better on OKC. That delusional fuck thinks he should be the star of the team.

The Cleveland Cavaliers have reached an agreement in principle to acquire New York Knicks guards J.R. Smith and Iman Shumpert in a multi-team trade that also sends guard Dion Waiters to the Oklahoma City Thunder, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

Oklahoma City will give the Cavaliers a protected future first-round draft pick and send guard Lance Thomas to the Knicks, league sources said. As part of the trade, the Cavaliers will send rookie center Alex Kirk, forward Lou Amundson and a 2019 second-round pick to the Knicks, sources said.

For New York, the deal is a salary dump to clear cap space. The Knicks unload the $6.4 million owed to Smith next season.

A trade call with the league is expected to take place later Monday night after the Cavaliers', Knicks' and Thunder's games, sources said.

The Knicks also will waive center Samuel Dalembert, a league source said. His contract would've become fully guaranteed for the season if he remained on the roster through Wednesday.

3-Team Deal with the Cavs, Knicks and Thunder might be my favorite trade ever.

This does have the potential to be fun bad for the Cavs.

The Bucks should bring him back, but instead they just signed KDdidit Martin to a 10 day contract. :|

He plays defense and he averages a double double in like 20 minutes. He's the best big man they have. Those picks are useless too.

Jimmy Butler was taken with a low first round pick, they are not worthless.
