OKC might be a better team. I’m not convinced of that now though. Three weeks ago I would have agree with you but this SA team is really starting to make some noise and I will never count Pop out.

Bro.

This game is about LaMarcus Aldridge submitting an all time Pantheon Spur level game. Who gives a shit about those OKC bums?

I do obviously. Nothing against Aldridge. I like the Spurs. I'm a fan of the game though. I rarely if ever cheerlead. I leave that sort of thing to you.

I was actually glad to see Pop go to the mismatch (like real coaches do) instead of employing all of that silly ass spacing 3 point bullshit.

Clear a side and allow your big to work.

Spurs been doing that all year. They shoot the least threes among any team since December 1st and yet still score the most points per 100 possessions since that date. Incredible. Aldridge and DeRozan have been incredible in absolutely throwback roles.

I don’t mind cheerleading. Love seeing the Spurs roll with the 25th iteration of this Spurs team and still do well.

Don't you have a Donovan "awesome" Mitchell to be pumping or is the bloom (predictably) off that rose?

S.A. is coming and Pop is doing a helluva job. Particularly with that backcourt. My main man Rudy Gay has been coming up big for them.

OKC will have a better record when its said and done but S.A. looks like they will be top 5 in the West.

Yup. WWN and I bonded over that game. It was an all time classic.

I’m still waiting on my guy.

Haven’t lost faith but it’s hard to pump him up this year.

Rudy’s been incredible as a Spur.

I know I’m biased because SA has been my secondary team for literally 20 years now but I can’t believe how much my opinion of Aldridge and Gay has changed in the last 3 years. Both went from among my least favorite players in the league to among my favorite. LA especially. I love that dudes game and his heart.

Those 2nd year scouting can be a bitch sometimes.

Yeah i was never particularly up or down on LA but i think he got a bad rap early on with the Spurs. Pop showed the type of guy he was by taking responsibilty for it. He used him a tadbit differently than he was used in Portland. Tried to make a "stretch" guy. Wasn't really his game.

I was always a big Rudy Gay guy. One of the most talented guys to come along in the past 10 yrs. Should have been a little better given his talent but he was far from a disappointment.

No doubt. I have more faith in him correcting things than usual though. I absolutely love his game, attitude, and work ethic. A LOT is being asked of him though this year and I understand a sophomore slump.

Mitchell's game might be the worst part about him. He has great athleticism and wingspan but his overall game isn't that great. Erratic shooter, terrible shot selection and doesn't impact the game in anyway besides scoring. Tried to tell you early on to pump the brakes.

He has things in his game that are difficult to correct. Bad decision maker too. With the type of freedom he has 20 per game is rather pedestrian. When he gets better guys around him and has to share the ball more his avg will actually go down. Then he is going to really be irrelevant (as far as being in the class of great players go).

Obviously I disageee with most of that and we’ll see how it plays out.

He has bad shot selection and doesn’t seem concerned with improving that. That’s a big concern. I love every other part of his game still and think he will be a star regardless but yes he need to improve that.

I think you are underestimating how tough it is for him on that team with no stretch 4 and no other creator. The load they are asking him to carry is enormous.

I agree with that. But they have a few guys that aren't bad. Gobert is their best player. Ingles can play. I've seen guys who were special perform.much better with lesser players than they have. He has to add more to his game.

They depend on him a lot but i also thinks he benefits from having the ultimate green light. When they get better players and he slots in as a No 2 or No 3 option he won't be allowed to take as many shots.

It will be interesting to see how it turns out. Next year will provide more of a definitive answer as to the sort of player he will be.

I love Ingles. There is a a post from me a couple years ago begging the Bulls to sign him. But he’s their number two guy and we both know he’s a fourth on a great team.

I’m just a Mitchell guy at this point. Got into him last year and after following him for a year I love him even more. Seems like just a dynamite dude as a person. I think he’s learning this year how much work is going to need to be put in going forward to be a top player and I also think he has the work ethic to get that done. It’s also encouraging that I read that he was a very slow starter at Louisville, last year, and this year. That can’t keep continuing but it makes me feel better about him going down the stretch this year.

Hawks are a lot of fun to watch. Looking forward to seeing them next year with a couple more lottery picks on the roster. They desperately need a big man/rim protector and a guy who can create/score off the wing. Don't know if there's a big guy who fits that description in the draft, but this draft is definitely loaded with wings.

Blake revenge game at LA is a decent game right now, better than this NFL game at least

Can’t do it. The NBA doesn’t exist for me until Monday.

And now Blake ruins it by claiming that it was not intentional but just part of his routine to run off the court after warmups....  Just own it...you don't like the dude and did not want to shake his hand. When asked if he would have shook his hand if it wasn't messing up his routine he claims that he doesn't want to answer hypothetical questions

My adopted Joker Nuggets are disappointing me for the first time since I’ve watched them tonight. This is last year’s defense, not this year’s.

Oh well. Lame ass hyped matchup due to Jokic foul trouble and GS just can’t fucking miss even by their standards.
