Damn that's a big shot....why'd he pick up his dribble though?

What a bunch of dumbasses. Who loses a playoff game on an uncontested layup. They deserve to lose.

Not covering LeBron is an interesting strategy

Awful defense at the end. Should have just fouled Lebron, he's not making both free throws, especially with pressure. Awful coaching as well, Hibbert needs to be in, not whitey. Pacers need to tighten up their offense, especially with end of half/game situations. At the end of regulation and ot they were brutal, but got lucky.

It was reverse psychology that failed miserably. No way they expected LeBron to hit the open lane.

Lebron wilts in crunch time. Now Kobe on the other hand...

Let's not get carried away now.

Hibbert has to be in the game in those scenarios.

Indiana almost gave me a reason to give a shit about the NBA playoffs. Almost.

it's a crushing loss for sure, but on the other hand they got lucky as hell to get it to overtime
Pacers still got this, providing Vogel actually puts the players on the court that are supposed to be there

Can we drop the Lebron is bad in crunch time thing yet? I think he's proven over the last two seasons that he is the man. This isn't 2011 anymore, and the jokes aren't even funny anymore.

His explanation makes it even more puzzling. Something about Hibbert not defending Bosh's jumper very well, so they didn't want to give that up. So, wide open lane > Bosh jumper?

At the very least, Hibbert should have been on the floor at that time to defend the guy throwing the ball in. Hibbert is 7'3", his size would make it tough for anyone. The move just made no sense to me.

LeBron is definately the man and has elevated himself into the best player ever conversation.

The man is a fucking beast.

Yep. And I agree that Lebron is unstoppable, but Hibbert's presence would have at least altered the shot/route to the basket. You can live with a loss on a pull up jumper, but my god, you lost on an uncontested layup.

Turned out to be a decent game tonight. The Pacers almost choked at the end, but they seemed to know where LeBron was going to throw the ball after he made his move. If they get up 2-1 in this series they have to close the deal.

Pacers should be up 2-0. They have to have a ton of confidence. They had it last year too but was inexperienced. That Paul George dunk better be #1 on Sports Center. LeBron James is amazing.

Decent game? Both of these games were fantastic. Very competitive, lots of outstanding plays. So entertaining. This series delivers.

Co-sign on all of this. Boy, the Pacers should be kicking themselves for losing that first game. Such a missed opportunity. If they'd won that, I'd actually favor them to win this series.

LeBron is nearly beyond belief. I don't hold the late mistakes against him too much; he's the reason they were in the game. That PG dunk got me out of my seat, with a big "oh shit" expression on my face.

I can hardly wait for the next game. Rose needs to get his shit in order, because the days of the central being a cake-walk are done.

Watching this series makes me wonder what the Bulls could have done with a healthy team and with Rose even 50 percent.

Yeah, despite B&B's claims, this Miami squad doesn't seem to be invulnerable. They have weaknesses at PG & PF/C that disciplined teams can exploit. They're the favorites, of course, but teams like the Bulls or the Pacers can give them trouble, and if things break bad for their supporting cast, anything's possible.

People act like, because the Bulls won those 6 chips, it was just ordained that they'd win them. Not so. They worked like hell, and got breaks. You need some luck. The Pistons showed that against the Lakers. Basketball is less random than other sports, but if you're close, it's worth the shot. Next year will be very interesting for the Bulls franchise.
