This series is going to be great. Hopefully the Pacers can finish the deal this year. The Heat are really a one man team, with a couple of inconsistant pieces. Wade, Bosh, Chalmers are inconsistant, and Cole, Allen, Battier, Birdman are garbage.

I think the Bulls had a better bench this season than the Pacers. I think with Hinrich and Deng I could see the Bulls taking the Heat to at least 6 games.

Decent game? Both of these games were fantastic. Very competitive, lots of outstanding plays. So entertaining. This series delivers.

Watching this series makes me wonder what the Bulls could have done with a healthy team and with Rose even 50 percent.

Yeah, despite B&B's claims, this Miami squad doesn't seem to be invulnerable. They have weaknesses at PG & PF/C that disciplined teams can exploit. They're the favorites, of course, but teams like the Bulls or the Pacers can give them trouble, and if things break bad for their supporting cast, anything's possible.

.
Thats the thing, its been pointed out a few times that the were on the verge of getting their asses handed to them last year and shouldve lost that series to the Celtics. Now all of the sudden theyre this unbelievable , unbeatable machine that other teams are lucky to stay within 15 points of. Fuck that, Pacers arent afraid of them and even the Bulls as shorthanded as they were almost pushed them to 6 when it shouldve been a lock down sweep by Miami. Indiana winning this series would be one of my favorite sports moments of all time.

Yep. And if Smith got suspended for his deal, Wade should as well. But I will be very surprised if he is.

He didn't suspended last season when he gave the body blow to the Pacers guy either. It shouldn't surprise anyone. He still gets fouls called on him, but the NBA was not going to suspend Wade in a close series.

No defense to this point. At least 60% of the shots have been completely uncontested. Come on, Pacers! #TWTW

Pacers can't afford to trade baskets. Rotations are poor. Improve them.

If you're sitting by your computer they have some interesting angles of the game here: http://www.nba.com/tntovertime/

The other angles are similar to WGN's camera angles for the home Cub games that previously available on UVerse the last couple seasons. That was funny because the camera guys would filming the attractive women during commercial breaks. This TNT online feed is not perfect by any means, but you can't see everything when they quickly snap to other shots either.

I sort of view this like the Warriors series against the Spurs. The Warriors should have won game 1 and they took game 2 on the road. Then they split at home and then lost game 5 and 6. So far the same is holding true for the Pacers. The Pacers cannot win the game if the scores are going to be over 100. Lance Stephenson is absolutely killing them. It's like having Ronnie Brewer or Keith Bogans out there. Meanwhile Haslem and Andersen are going 12-13 for 26 points. Paul George has to bring his A game every game if these guys are going to have any chance at all.

Has anything in the history of humanity been more irritating than Chris 'Birdman' Anderson suddenly becoming the most efficient player the world has ever seen?

I'm starting to suspect that the entire universe exists specifically to torture me in obscure ways.

I am not an NBA expert like Bernise and I don't know a lot of "stuff"... But I think San Antonio has a little something for the Heat like the Mavs did.

I agree about the misplaced perception that the Heat are virtually unbeatable, but at the same the numbers suggest despite their flaws, they're still weirdly dominant. They are an amazing 50-6 since the all star break, and 10-2 so far in the playoffs. As a Bulls fan, I wish nothing but failure for the Heat, but right now it seems the Heat have a monopoly on eastern conference dominance.

I sure hope so. Everyone thought last year that OKC could take out Miami, but then after winning game 1 they lost 4 in a row.

The reason why the Mavs were able to beat Miami was because Miami had a very limited rotation that season and no one could guard Dirk at the end of the game. Dirk was also very efficient and he would shoot a high percentage and make all his free throws.

I so agree.

I briefly had on Mike and Mike today and they were interviewing Bill Laimbeer. They made a comparison between Birdman and Rodman and asked him about it. I thought Laimbeer was going to lose it, and rightfully so, there is NO comparison between the two. Birdman could not sniff Rodman's jock on his best day.

The reason why they have a monopoly is because the East is bad and the coming together of the big 3 guaranteed that Cleveland and Toronto would be in the lottery every year. Dwight Howard put the Magic in the lottery and Andrew Bynum not playing put Philadelphia in the lottery. Of the playoff teams Boston was on its last legs with no Rondo this season, the Knicks are a high seed but a bad team, the Bulls had no Rose, Deng and Hinrich, the Bucks are terrible, the Nets are a mediocre team with great talent and the Hawks are always a middle of the pack team with no superstars. The Western Conference is absolutely stacked right now and Miami doesn't have to get through the Spurs, OKC, the Nuggets and Memphis to get to the Finals.

Without a healthy Bulls team Indiana is the second best team in the East. The difference is that Miami has more off their bench and they have Dwayne Wade instead of Lance Stephenson. The Pacers are not good enough to shoot over 50 percent in this series and they have to hold Miami under 50 percent to win.

The reason why I think the Spurs can beat Miami is because the Spurs have the better coach, they have never lost in the Finals and because they have a deep bench, three point shooting and a few different guys who can make shots at the end of games.

Guys like Mike and Mike might be too quick to judge on Birdman, or it could be the typical ESPN habit of manufacturing pointless debates out of nothing so talking heads can yell over one another. Birdman's efficiency probably has more to do with the Pacers having to step out on Bosh at the three point line, and more recently Haslem from 15 feet out, than anything Birdman brings to the table himself.

^^ Keep in mind he has been wrong about the Spurs literally the entire season.

Spurs will win easily against Miami. 6 games, tops.

Agreed.

Sadly, we won't get to see it, but Spurs-Pacers will still be a good matchup.

I have for the most part. I'll be willing to wager that the Heat will win.

When the Spurs were down on Saturday I said they would win by 10 points. I have board witnesses. Also I picked them to beat the Grizzlies. I actually haven't picked them to lose any of their match ups.

I'm going with the Heat since I don't think the Spurs would've made it had OKC stayed healthy against Memphis. I can't argue with 50-6 since the All-Star break.
