Golden State in its current incarnation had "match up" issues with every team they faced. Their insane offensive prowess had a way of overcoming what on paper were poor matchups for them.

He has scored 30 in both games following the switch off of Westbrook. He also was posing at the end of the last game. Suddenly didn't look all that fatigued. More like relieved.

When OKC wins Hussra will march triumphantly through the threads of CSFMB letting everyone know that they arw defeated. Finished. No more. He'll be like Hitler striding through Paris, France under the Arch de Triumph while the French on lookers went tears of sadness and humiliation.

One thing that hasn't really been mention in this thread is that whoever scores the most points at the end of the game usually wins. Look as far back in NBA history as you want but I'm pretty sure this is undisputed. The NBA is a scorer's league, and that's why scorers matter. It's telling that whenever Westbrook is guarded by an inferior defender he goes off. Doesn't look to good for GS if that continues to be the case. The Thunder should be able to easily outscore the Warriors if the Warriors don't score as much as the Thunder.

I truly was wondering when the not so witty portion of the show would start and now we have it. Thanks for playing. Let me hit you with a little nugget to ponder. Green has to play better. So does Curry. So does Thompson. Kerr has to coach better. If this happens G.S. wins easily. I noticed that your wittiness and observation skills didn't extend to this little bit of "analysis". I wonder why.

Undisputed in NBA history, yes. Not in the 1972 Olympics.

I agree with most of what you've typed, but Thompson really can't play much better.

Prediction:

Curry's right arm is going to fly off attempting his 2000th 25 footer of the last year and fly across the court, nailing Steven Adams in the junk; at which point Curry will be assessed a flagrant five and be suspended for the rest of Stanley Cup Finals.

Cool down, LTG. Just messing around while waiting for the damn game to start. In all seriousness, I don't know if I care who wins. I do think, however, that the best two teams in the league are playing tonight. I agree with you on this being GS' toughest series in the past two years, but I don't think your analysis of Curry's struggles is well thought-out.

Yeah, I don't think ltg meant to say Thompson there. Probably didn't think about it.

LTG doesn't usually dabble in message board hijinks; so understandable veganfan21 didn't pick up on it.

LTG's last post was dripping in so much sarcasm that he almost morphed into SomeGuy.

No it actually is. One of the old adages is that the best way to slow an offensive player down is to go at him and make him have to guard. If you don't believe that Curry's struggles were related to checking Westbrook then I don't what to tell you. He has hit his average the last two games after struggling every game except one. He has also shot a higher percentage. It affects you.

OKC is getting any shot they want. They are missing but the ball movement is much better.

Billy Donovan made a mistake in not playing him much this series.

In limited minutes, Kanter's leading all scorers with 8 points. Also has 4 boards.

Westbrook must be trying to get going from outside. Taking that bad of a shot early in the clock.

As long as OKC doesn't play hero ball when Curry puts on a show in the 2nd half they should be fine.

I have to stop watching. I think Thompson is like 47 for 47 in the last few games when I watch.
