as usual, the peanut gallery is silent after Trae has yet another stellar game, 39 pts on 13-23 shooting, 10 assists. Unfortunately his team is so banged up that last night they had to start Trae and 4 bums and one struggling rookie...Jabari Parker, Bumbry, Damien Jones and Cam Reddish (who actually had his first good game).

As of today him and Luka are the only players in the entire league who are in the top 5 in both PPG and APG. Pretty fucking impressive.

Brooklyn put up 130 points. So while the Hawks solved their shooting problem for one night, they didn't solve the other glaring problem. Hence, the 3rd worst team in the entire Association.

Fultz's team is actually winning without its best (All Star caliber player). Fultz's team was winning with two guys no one had ever heard of in the starting lineup.

Fultz shoots close to 50%, doesn't dominate the ball, and plays defense.

Trae the mercurial, transcendent Young's team has lost 11 out of 12 and been frequently blownout while losing them.

Meanwhile you have dupes on here that frequently doubted whether the kid was even injured, frequently claimed that he was suicidal, "had the yips" and was going to go down as one of the biggests "busts" in history.

Well newsflash. They were wrong on every account. Kid has avg 15-16 per game since being inserted into the starting lineup shoots a respectable % from the field and isn't being destroyed every game by G League caliber PGs.

He also isn't putting up stats while his team is down 30 at halftime.

well yea, they don't really have an NBA team right now so of course they are going to keep losing. They're now down Collins and Hunter and Huerter just came back last night and is severely limited. They don't have a legit NBA callibur center and have no rim protection.

that's a load of crap. I haven't seen any evidence of players "not trying". They just suck at defense. Hunter plays hard on D and so does Reddish, but they are rookies learning the ropes. Everyone tries as well, they just suck at it. Jones tries, he just literally has no idea where he is supposed to be standing on a basketball court. A guy like Trae needs a defensive team built around him. That's how it worked for Steph in GSW. Right now, they don't have that in ATL and they're getting exposed.

he's pretty fucking terrible as a basketball player. His suffers from the disease of not knowing how to play the game at different speeds. Jabari only plays peddle to the metal, head down, 100 mph take it to the hole with blinders on basketball. he has no concept of changing up speeds or using hesitation to throw defenders off balance. My guy Lonzo unfortunately suffers from the same disease.
