no need for condolences. plenty of room on the TWolves bandwagon

Corey Brewer also in the house. Just need to get Pek signed. I really like Shved too.

Pekovic is restricted right?
i have to assume they'd match
i really think they need to keep him, he's just a fucking beast and its nice to have someone like that to compliment Love since his game is more away from the basket

The Wolves will battle for a playoff spot. But outside of the Lakers, I don't see any other Western team easily falling out, and the Rockets, Blazers, and Wolves all want to get in.

Houston did make it...
and yes Lakers will fall out, Wolves in

Wolves are going to be better than the Blazers

Yeah I don't know why I thought Houston missed.

I disagree about the Blazers/Wolves.

why?

i like the Wolves better at nearly every position, i'll give you Lillard > Rubio and Love > Aldridge may not be a huge advantage either...but I think they're fairly even as far as starters, Wolves have better depth

Howard, Asik and Camby? All are still in Houston right?

Scola will replace Hansbrough, right?

I can see myself agreeing with Bagels once we see the two teams play. Though Scola's addition is probably an incremental upgrade in the big picture, in terms of Bulls vs Pacers his addition makes Indy a bit more challenging to guard.

Given the choice would you rather have Taj Gibson or Scola?

Does an older injury prone Oden do anything different than Eddy Curry did for them?

How bout this one?

Quote:
Chris Gatling pleads guilty in scam

PHOENIX -- A former NBA All-Star accused of squatting at a Paradise Valley home and then trying to list the house for rent on Craigslist has pleaded guilty to theft and forgery charges.

Chris Gatling entered the guilty pleas to one count of theft and one count of forgery on Thursday in Maricopa County Superior Court.

His sentencing is set for Oct. 4.

Gatling was accused of breaking in the key box at the home and living there for about a year.

Police say the homeowners lived in California but had left the power on at the Arizona home.

Gatling's attorney, Michael Alarid III, declined to comment on his client's guilty pleas.

Gatling averaged 10.3 points in 11 seasons with Golden State, Miami, Dallas, New Jersey, Milwaukee, New Orleans, Denver and Cleveland.

Police arrest Michael Beasley; suspected marijuana found

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Scottsdale police have arrested Phoenix Suns forward Michael Beasley after finding suspected marijuana in his car.

Officer David Pubins says Beasley was arrested early Tuesday morning following a traffic stop.

Pubins says an officer found three cigarettes suspected to contain marijuana in Beasley's Mercedes after smelling marijuana during the stop.

Pubins says Beasley was released after being cited for investigation of one felony count each of marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to Pubins, court proceedings in the case will begin once results of lab tests are available.

Beasley was Phoenix's biggest offseason acquisition in 2012 after signing a three-year contract. He was the No. 2 overall pick of the 2008 draft.

KS, people like this need to learn how to use the garage. No reason be driving around doing the smokey in the car.

Is Phoenix a good candidate for worst team in the league heading into next season? I loved those mid-2000s Suns teams, by the way. They should have at least made it to a Finals series. A lot of people justifiably blame Sarver for screwing the Suns up, but Steve Kerr trading for Shaq irrecoverably altered that franchise.

Oh the Bucks will definitely be in consideration, I just think Phoenix has to contend with more difficult opponents on a nightly basis. Plus, while it seems the Bucks have an issue with an incompetent GM, the Suns seem to not care about the quality of the product on the floor.

i'm not sure i necessarily agree they'll be facing more difficult opponents , just insofar as their division...shockingly i think the Central > Pacific

I can definitely see that. It seems both divisions have two playoff teams, and then the quality takes a nosedive after that. I don't know what to make out of Detroit and Cleveland, however. In looking at the divisions, I'd have to say Miami's division is probably the league's worst. The Atlantic can be interesting if the Nets are decent, but it can just as easily be a sea of boring mediocrity (I'm not a Knicks believer). The Spurs' division is potentially the most competitive.
