Rockets will sign free agent center Marcus Camby today, an NBA source told Y! Sports.

The Suns will send Luis Scola to the Pacers in exchange for Miles Plumlee, Gerald Green, and a 2014 protected first round pick. The deal adds a bit of salary to the Suns the next two seasons and gives the Pacers a much-needed scoring boost off the bench in the frontcourt.

I can see myself agreeing with Bagels once we see the two teams play. Though Scola's addition is probably an incremental upgrade in the big picture, in terms of Bulls vs Pacers his addition makes Indy a bit more challenging to guard.

Chris Gatling pleads guilty in scam

PHOENIX -- A former NBA All-Star accused of squatting at a Paradise Valley home and then trying to list the house for rent on Craigslist has pleaded guilty to theft and forgery charges.

Chris Gatling entered the guilty pleas to one count of theft and one count of forgery on Thursday in Maricopa County Superior Court.

His sentencing is set for Oct. 4.

Gatling was accused of breaking in the key box at the home and living there for about a year.

Police say the homeowners lived in California but had left the power on at the Arizona home.

Gatling's attorney, Michael Alarid III, declined to comment on his client's guilty pleas.

Gatling averaged 10.3 points in 11 seasons with Golden State, Miami, Dallas, New Jersey, Milwaukee, New Orleans, Denver and Cleveland.

Police arrest Michael Beasley; suspected marijuana found



SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Scottsdale police have arrested Phoenix Suns forward Michael Beasley after finding suspected marijuana in his car.

Officer David Pubins says Beasley was arrested early Tuesday morning following a traffic stop.

Pubins says an officer found three cigarettes suspected to contain marijuana in Beasley's Mercedes after smelling marijuana during the stop.

Pubins says Beasley was released after being cited for investigation of one felony count each of marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to Pubins, court proceedings in the case will begin once results of lab tests are available.

Beasley was Phoenix's biggest offseason acquisition in 2012 after signing a three-year contract. He was the No. 2 overall pick of the 2008 draft.

Is Phoenix a good candidate for worst team in the league heading into next season? I loved those mid-2000s Suns teams, by the way. They should have at least made it to a Finals series. A lot of people justifiably blame Sarver for screwing the Suns up, but Steve Kerr trading for Shaq irrecoverably altered that franchise.
