Digging the whole neutral site aspect of having the games played inside of the bubble. They have been much more competitive because of it.

Madison Square or Barclay Center. Madison Square would be the first choice.

Portland would be good and so would a spot like OKC. I would start in areas with rabid fans then go from there.

By scheduling a year(s) out you'd give people time to plan their schedule around it like the Super Bowl and the Final Four.

I agree. All good spots. Vegas doesn't work though? If Barclays Center is chosen a year or two from now and the Nets win the Conference Finals that year, that'd be home-court advantage.

That might happen some years. Can't do anything about it.

Vegas's gym is too small for a:Finals Series. I think capacity is 14,000-15,000 thousand. Plus NBA Finals tickets wouldn't just be sold to home team fans. There would be fans from all over the country coming to watch in theory.

Only problem would be level of enthusiasm that you'd lose out on. Didn't factor that one in.

It's true. Same thing if an NFL team happens to play in their home city for the SB. But I wasn't thinking UNLV campus. T-Mobile Arena? And yes, fans from all over the country would come to Vegas, including home team fans. Maybe allocate a certain amount of tickets to the fans of both Finals teams.

Also, Gary Trent Jr has been the biggest surprise of the bubble, even moreso than TJ Warren. 2nd rounder who was a 1 and done after one nothing season at Duke, looked terrible his entire rookie year. Now he looks like a reason to trade CJ McCullough.

So apparently Brooklyn beat Milwaukee this week as one of the biggest underdogs in NBA history (+18.5).

Still should've been a gimme: Nuggets had something to play for, moving up to the 2nd seed. Lakers locked into the 1 seed, playing for shits-n-giggles. Lakers play LeBron and AD ~40 minutes each like it's game 7 of the WC Finals while the Nuggets sat their starters in the 2nd half. Lakers with Lebron and AD playing the entire game still needed a last second 3 from Kuzma to pull out a W. Lakers not winning it all this year.
