I think what's most annoying about this outcome was the fact that it was Bosh and Allen who were the heroes. I could tolerate even Battier getting the praise over those two mutants. Not that piece of shit Wade though.

See y'all in the drinky thread.

Man that was something. I know next to nothing about basketball but the back and forth tonight was amazing, upsetting, exciting, and retarded. I think the Heat have this now :( but damn if the next game is anything like tonight's I don't know how I will cope. I'm going to play Red Dead now.

-Duncan on Bench at end of 4th

-Parker on Bench end of OT

-Duncan disappears in second half

-Danny Green back to reality.

Heat by 20 Thursday Night

Many could have put em up 6 with :58 left

I kinda feel bad for LeBron. That interview you could just the tell he was desperately trying to say the right thing. He's like a super talented Charlie Brown

The Spurs lost this on missed free throws in the fourth, and because of the play of the Heat's amazing playmaker Manu Ginobli (eight TOs).

Green was also Raped on that last shot. But I doubt he makes all the free throws anyways.

Sure San Antonio choked at the end, but the Ray Allen play was a foul and Bosh fouled Green on the block. Why do they even have officials on the court if they can't call fouls at the end of games? This is just as bad as the officiating in the Super Bowl.

I think the Spurs have 3 of the most bizarre losses I've seen in the NBA playoffs. Tonight, the Fisher shot, and the game 7 against Dallas in 2006 were all games I thought they had most assuredly won.

No ref is going to call those in overtime of game six of the Finals. The Spurs put themselves in that position by missing free throws (Ginobli, Leonard, and Parker) and turning the ball over way too much.

It's catch 22 with him because, while he's been ineffective on offense, he's also the team's secondary ball handler. Leonard doesn't handle like Ginobli, so they're kinda stuck with him. Pop should humiliate him in front of the team tomorrow or tonight for all those reckless passes he throw. He may have lost the game by himself with those TOs and the missed FT.

Fraid so.

Going with Manu for so long, as well as not having Duncan in the game for a rebound when Allen hit that 3 is inexcusable.

I found his lineup at the start of the 4th and his sticking with them for so long to be far more objectionable than what went down in the last 2 minutes. When you have your foot on the Heat's throat, you don't sit your two best players for that long. Especially when you're going up against a player in Lebron who hadn't been confident at all on offense the whole game.

Manu was terrible, but he's also the secondary ball handler. You would hope he throws the ball to the right team, but I can understand having him on the floor to give the Spurs more than one ball handler. I thought they took Duncan out to have a more mobile defender against the Heat's shooters.

We'll see what the Spurs are made of in game 7. Miami played more desperate in the 4th because their season was on the line. It was so intense that LeBron lost his headband.

Ginobili should be investigated for throwing the game and then shot.

Absolutely heartbreaking loss...I cannot imagine the Spurs winning Game 7. And Pops was brutal.

Agree with rpb earlier...that near back-court violation to cement defeat would have been glorious.

Ehh I think the Spurs are professional enough to get over it. I still doubt they win on Thrusday but if Danny Green returns to being Danny Green from this season's playoffs? There may just be a win there. It is going to be a very close game though, I'm calling that now.

I agree. I don't think either team is phased by a loss, regardless of the magnitude of heartbreak involved. I expect Game 7 to be kinda sloppy but I think it will be really competitive. And of course I still think the Spurs still got this.

And if the Spurs lose Game 7 I will make approximately 963 excuses and then say "Spurs in 2014"

No way. But one thing I think we agree on is wanting to see both teams fully healthy next spring.

Definitely, but I can't believe KD and Westbrook can't get any love here. Tough crowd.
