This. He's a max contract guy that will almost certainly never be an All star.

I keep forgetting how thin this Cavs team is. It sounds like they used the 2k15 player generator to fill out the bottom half of their roster. Alex Kirk, Will Cherry, Joe Harris? No way they contend for the title this year.

They have a solid 8 to 9 man rotation. That's all you will need in the playoffs anyway.

Ray Allen will be there in February too.

Has to be before March 1st right? Is he exempt because he isn't currently on a roster? There was a rumor the Bulls had interest.

I have no idea how the Spurs are still in this. But it's cool to see Kawhi taking over as the #1 player.

Cleveland is going to have defensive problems all yr. No amount of scheming will be able to disguise their deficiencies. They have no shot blocking and they can't guard on the perimeter. James for all the B&B talk of all world defender has always been overrated as an on ball defender. He gambles a lot and has had trouble in keeping people in front of him over the yrs

LeBron is still a great defender but no one every expected the Cavs to be great defensively.

The young Bucks are back at it tonight, plenty of room on the bandwagon.

I think LBJ is fine after appearing in four straight finals. The same critiques were said of the Heat and they did just fine without a shot blocker.

The unsung hero for the Heat was birdman and he is a shot blocker. You could see the difference when they picked him. Their interior D was much better and he was a difference maker for them

Everyone knows they won one of those rings because of Eddy Curry.

I don't buy the great defender stuff he rarely locks guys up on defense and he gambles too much. I have rarely seen him shut people down. The one time I can remember him shutting any one down it was Paul George in game seven of the series two yrs ago. Prior to that George came at him. He gets broken down a lot off the dribble

I think LeBron's a good defender but Miami could pick and choose his defensive efforts so he could concentrate his energy on offense. Cleveland will not have that luxury.

That's my point. He guarded Kendrick Perkins during the majority of the series against OKC. Shane Barrier used to take the tough defensive assignments. I can never remember a great defender take the non defensive assignment as much as he does.

The Dallas series also exposed him as a defender. He was consistently taken off the dribble during that series. The myth of him being able to guard any position was also debunked because if that were true he would have guarded Nowitski at some point. He never did during that series.

I'm looking forward to both TNT matchups tonight. But it seems like Golden State is in the late game every week on TNT.
