The Celtics may have pissed away their chance to advance to the NBA Finals after last night's clunker in Game 6. Even though Vinny's Clippers bucked the trend when they went on the road to eliminate the Grizzlies in Round 1 in the Western Conference Playoffs down in Memphis, the stats don't favor Boston tomorrow night in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals in Miami. I thought I heard 82% of home teams tend to win a Game 7. The Heat have momentum after a big statement win last night.

Besides, ESPN/ABC bosses have their fingers crossed that Thunder/Heat is the matchup for the NBA Finals starting Tuesday in Oklahoma City. Although Miami & OKC aren't exactly the biggest of markets, it's a star-driven league and the most casual of fans might actually tune in to see LeBron & KDurant, arguably the NBA's 2 biggest stars right now.
