This Golden State thing isn't the slam dunk that some have it to be. They have no interior defense at all. A virtual layup line. Bogut and to a degree Ezeli covered up for some of their defenses deficiencies. Without any rim protection expect them to give up a lot of 60 point halves this season.

They'll be good. Keeping up with the Spurs is a tough task.

Ive seen some of their preseason games and that lack of shot blocking is going to hurt. Curry and Durant are weak defenders. Green is a good defender but he is not a rim protector. Their offense is something special but they are not going to be able to stop people at all.

Too early to tell. But one thing I can tell is that Pau ain't shit no more, and the young Spurs are looking good in this game!

Good position defender and he will battle but not a shot blocker nor is he terribly athletic. 6'5 is still 6'5. They also have lost a lot off of their bench. Still have Livingston and Iggy but teams are going to hammer them in the paint.

Green can play down low better than you're giving him credit for. They'll clean some things up and be a top 2 team in the West. San Antonio is winning the title this year though.

As is the beauty of basketball, GS will dominate the regular season and run into matchup problems in the playoffs against big, physical, well-coached teams. They might overcome but it won't be easy.

Aldridge and Leonard are kicking MUCH ass! Are they really this good?

He is a competitor but he isn't a shot blocker. I just think handing them the West may be premature. They are getting dominated on the boards and that is going to happen in a lot of games.

They are still the favorites and it's only one game but I also saw them against Portland last week and they had the same problem. They are going to score a lot no doubt but that interior is going to be really soft.

They did sign Javale Mcgee. He is freakishly athletic and can block and change shots but he is a space cadet that may not see the court much.

I'm not handing them the West. I think SA will be the best team in the conference.

Well, Durant put up good numbers, and Curry did too. I guess they (GS) were simply outplayed. I love me some Steve Kerr, but I like this win.

I don't see anybody beating them in a 7 game series

I think they have a team built for the regular season 312. IN the playoffs I think you can gameplan for them. It is not going to be easy but they essentially gave up 5 players (2 starters) for Durant. The 3 bigs that they let go are all better than ZaZa also. Their bench is weaker as they are going to have to depend on rookies and untested guys. They still have Livingston and Iggy though. They are going to try and win it with 3 top 15 guys and an elite role player. They are very small. ONce you break them down on the perimeter there isn't anyone to alter shots.
