Dude, they are actually pretty good. I know losing Capela will hurt for the next 6 weeks, but this team isn't that bad. If the Clips keep sliding I could see the Rockets in the WCF this year. |

James Harden should be compelled to donate half his career earnings to basketball camps that teach defense. |

Convenient how sometimes defense is important and sometimes it's not Don't misrepresent me in your war on Draymond Green haters. I'm not in the camp that considers him a glorified role player. I just think any comparison of his defenses to Hakeems is ludicrous. I guess you can compare his d to the d of fellow swingmen and you'd be fine. |

They might have the best chance against a healthy GS team this season. |

How is that Doc/Gentry bashfest tour of yours working this year? Doc Rivers still sucks. Unprofessional and unethical, especially if Ray Allen's allegations are true. He should be nowhere near a HC job unless he undergoes basic business conduct training. Gentry appears to be proving me wrong but we'll see. |

Doc is doing a helluva job coaching and all it proves is that he shouldn't be a GM. They have already removed that title. That dude is a helluva coach. Proves it year in and year out. He also is a helluva developer of talent. |

Anybody could have coached that team to a title. The rest of his coaching career has been littered with underachievement, or outright failure. |

Anybody could have coached that team to a title. The rest of his coaching career has been littered with underachievement, or outright failure. Those guys weren't in their prime. Ray Allen was 33 or 34 years old and Garnett was about 32 or 33. Pierce was the only one that was 29 or 30. Doc Rivers was without his best players during every season as coach of the Clippers. Whether it was the playoffs or otherwise and he still won 50 games each season. Look at what he is doing this year.Look at that team. The people on this board bash him yet praise Thibs and he is a much better coach. Look at the record of his team this season without nowhere near the talent. His team is right there in the playoff hunt. He also is doing without the guys considered to be his players available. Injuries, trades, whatever. That guy gets it done. |

Bagels wrote: Doc isn't in the same galaxy as Thibs...stop, you're embarrassing yourself. You must dream of Thibs at night with how often you bring him up I do it to expose the hypocrisy and idiocy of what guys like you often suggest. Doc is on the verge of making the playoffs with a group of guys that most people have never heard of. You and the others that Keep stating that he such a terrible coach don't know what the hell you are talking about. I provide facts for the people not message board talking points or "consensus". Look at what he is doing with this particular roster alone. As often is the case around here the facts and record don't match the narrative. |

Doc Rivers winning percentage since he has been in L.A. 2012-2013 .683 2013-2014 .695 2014-2015 .683 2015-2016 .646 2016-2017 .622 2017-2018 .552 Tom Thibodeau's Record during the same span 2012-2013 .549 2013-2014 .585 2014-2015 . 610 2016-2017 . 378 2017-2018 .580 This is what passes for "embarrassing" on here apparently. |

Melo isn't anywhere near the player he used to be but of bigger concern for the Rockets is Chris Paul. Looks slow as hell and it appears that Father time has caught up with him. He is on the hook for 5 years at max money. |
