That article reminded me why I no longer subscribe to ESPN the magazine. I don't want to read the "War & Peace" version of any athletic personality. |

You don't have a lot of time left...why waste it on reading? You should probably get away from this message board to...go outdoors and travel. Sports are boring to follow anyway. |

Ranadive comes across worse IMO, which isn't a surprise since it's been clear for a while that he's the biggest problem there. We're used to owners who simply don't give a shit like Reinsdorf and the McCaskeys but meddlesome ones are arguably worse, especially when they're Silicon Valley dipshits. Quote: "We need to go from a rules-based organization, which was important when you had chaos, to a values-based organization -- from kind of a programmatic offense, to a read-and-respond, free-flowing offense. I like to use a music metaphor. We had a Sousa marching band, which was needed when there was chaos, but now we need to shift to a jazz band, where people can be individually showcased and improvised. What we need is a jazz director." Seriously what the hell is this crap?

It's awesome is what it is! I know the Kings are messy from top to bottom, there is no doubt about that. That does not exonerate Cousins though. |

There are MANY issues with DeMarcus Cousins, but Sacramento's ownership and front office makes GarPax look like Theo and Jed. |

Seriously what the hell is this crap?Remember the time Ranadive dropped in on practice and told everyone they should defend four-on-five with the fifth guy hanging out at the other end of the court so they could outlet-pass to him standing all alone? I forgot who the coach was at the time, maybe George Karl, but he had to explain that this generally stops working when players get to be about ten years old. |

I think the story involved Ranadive saying to the coach that it worked on his son's youth league team. And I think Mike Malone was the coach at the time, and basically told Ranadive to stay the fuck away from him. |

I was hoping when Malone was fired for seemingly no reason a few months later that his replacement would be forced into actually attempting it. |

I miss good long form sports journalism like this. This takes me back to Grantland, well Grantland minus the Simmons buillshit. Wow the fact this was Divac's short list is unbelievable: Quote: Divac, sources say, had been contemplating candidates such as Nate McMillan, Jeff Hornacek, Vinny Del Negro, Mark Jackson and Patrick Ewing to take over head-coaching duties.

Quote: There is "not a market" for DeMarcus Cousins during free agency this year. He has a slim chance of receiving a one-year deal with double-digit millions with a big market team. (Adrian Wojnarowski, ESPN) And Jimmy Butler got a max. Where you at LTG? Josh Smith 2.0 |

Cousins is till a good player. On the Warriors, he was a 5th option. So of course people are gonna say he's worthless. He can be a good player on a mediocre team that features him more. Yea he had the Achilles, but that affects shooters and runners more than guys who play around the basket. |

I'm hoping Boston swoops him up but they just signed Kanter. Clippers will probably be the ones to snatch him. He and Doc are a match made in Basketball heaven. |

Still believe this to be true? They fired their coach after their best season in like 15 years . And very likely hired a better coach. I'd much rather have the roster that they've assembled in Sac as opposed to the one that you (And MANY others) happen to love in Atl. Not even close. |

Not sure yet. Maybe. I'd much rather have the Bulls and Hawks core going forward. All three teams should be fairly close next year |

I'd take Sacramento's talent over Atlanta in a heartbeat. If you change your mind on the bet let me know. I doubt you will however. |

https://bleacherreport.com/articles/285 ... WCibZVSWLo Demarcus Cousins may be a pussy on the court, but he sure knows how to man up and tell his ex-girlfriend what's what. "I'm gonna put a bullet in your head! As long as you're within 3 feet because we both know any further and I'ma miss" |

Hope this doesn't hurt his chances of landing a roster spot on the Killer 3's. |
