I had him as MVP right after the Durant move viewtopic.php?f=129&t=101238 But no, it's still LeBron James until further notice. I'd take Kawhi over Westbrook as well. |

Fiercest competitor in the league too. Didn't see this coming when he was UCLA but the scouts had him pegged right. |

How is picking LBJ "lazy"? Because he is the easy safe choice. He isn't the best player in the league this year. He is in decline. Still top 3 but not the best. That's why. |

Who gives a shit about easy or safe choices? There's nothing at stake here. We are just giving our opinions and there's no consequences so that doesn't really make sense. He's the best player in the league. He doesn't need to prove himself chasing stats like Westbrook. He shows he's the best player in the games that matter. |

Westbrook has been the more dominant player this year and his team has benefitted from it. It's foolish to say he is simply chasing stats. LeBron hasn't been all that dominant this year. |

Doesn't change the fact that if their teams played for the title LeBron would outplay him in probably every single game. |

If Green doesn't get suspended last year, GS wins, I got a strong suspicion that you n Nas aren't saying Lebron. Westbrook this year reminds me of Lebron's last year in Cleveland, before the " decision" ..busting his ass every night to get his team a win, doing everything he can. |

I'm not taking anything away from Westbrook. Like I said, many of us saw this coming this year. But no, as much as I dislike LeBron, he's been too good for too long to just give that title to Westbrook based on a six month regular season. 10 months ago everybody agreed LeBron was the best player in the league. He's still that good. He doesn't need to put up better stats in February against non contenders to prove it. |

Really good question. That OKC series took a lot out of G.S last season. Playing in the East has provided Lebron with a cakewalk to the Finals every year. It changes this year I believe. No more than two |

Maybe, but only if Rondo starts producing with the starters. |

No more than two If the OKC series took a lot out of GS then why did GS blow the doors off Cleveland the first two games of the series last year? Because LeBron James didn't trust Kyrie Irving enough to share the ball. G.S winning the first two games was more a product of Cleveland''s inadequacies than anything. G.S. bench played well. Curry and Thompson wore down as the series dragged on. Curry's legs were shot and so was Thompson's Those airballs that Curry was jacking up were due to tired legs. |

That's nonsense. The Warriors didn't wear down. The Cavs just started playing better. LeBron not sharing the ball enough doesn't account for losing by 30+ either. |

Don't know which series you were watching. Game 1 wasn't a 30 point blowout either. Cleveland offense was raggedy and it was G.S bench which played big first 2 games. |
