Forget about them beating the championship Bulls teams , Waddle and Wilbon think Magic and company would sweep them . I tend to agree . |

Larry Bird's Celtics beat Magic in the Finals. So did the Pistons. The Pistons would have beat them twice in the finals but Thomas sprained his ankle in the one they lost. So of course Golden State could beat them. They sure as hell wouldn't get swept. I think Magic was 5-4 in the finals. Maybe 5-3. So let's not act like showtime was unbeatable. |

To say the Warriors would get swept by the Lakers is just silly. Could the Lakers beat GS? Yes. But GS could just as easily beat them as well. I don't think there is a championship team that could sweep the Warriors. |

Magic is the weak link defensively for the Lakers but he was solid playing team defense. The Warriors only have 2 good defenders. Let's not even talk about the bench. Lakers clearly have the edge. It goes no more than 6 regardless of the rules. |

That was 5 games. So if they couldn't sweep those teams, they sure as hell aren't sweeping Golden State. |

Unless you're specifically talking about the 95/96 team. But I still don't think they sweep them. Like I said, the Sonics took them to 6 games in the finals. GS is better than the Sonics. |
