Quote: "I'm confrontational. I feed off of confrontation. It makes me go. Not everybody's like that. [Bulls head coach Fred Hoiberg] is not that coach, and there's nothing wrong with that. There are different coaching styles and people are gonna say—which is what they did say—'It's gonna be Jimmy's team or it's gonna be Fred's team.' Two total opposite ends of the spectrum. They're either gonna try to win it now or they're gonna go young. And you see which way they went with it. Completely fine. Yo, it's y'all's business. It's y'all's organization. It's cool. And now I'm in Minnesota and couldn't be happier." Fucking shots fired.... |

Did you read something negative? I think you would want a team full of guys like him. |

Did you read something negative? I think you would want a team full of guys like him. A few things that you can infer. 1. Self indulgent. I wish guys worked as hard as me 2. Diva. Sort of redundant but he has a photographer living with him. 3. I'm confrontational. (Thinks undermining the coach is ok) 4. Difficult to deal with (Ask his Teammates) 5. I've changed. (Basically since he got paid) These were the things that guys like Friedell and Smith alluded to. It's also what Rondo took issue with. Jimmy Butler sure is big on being Jimmy Butler. If you read that there is quite a few things that would rub people the wrong way. |

I like him more after reading that. The guy works his ass off and wants to win. He demands that others care as much as he does. That's probably why he clashed with Rose. Didn't know that his advanced stats were that good either. |

Sure is too bad that people who sucked at basketball and were terrible at their jobs didn't get along with Jimmy Butler. |

Didn't know that his advanced stats were that good either. Other guys work hard too. Maybe not as hard as he does but that is a subjective argument. He throws teammates under the Bus and I don't care what he does individually that is not a good look. Jimmy Butler isn't a Hall of Fame player and even if he were it's still not a good thing to do. Appreciate what he has accomplished but it was time for him to move on. It was good for him and the team. Push on and now you can get bounced in the first round of the playoffs for a few years. |

Anyone who speaks out against management or supervisors should be whipped until they fall back in line. I agree with ltg. |

Jimmy Butler seems like one of the biggest turds to ever walk the planet. |

How about simply not speaking out publicly against management while you're still an employee. Shouldn't be whipped but he should be traded. Glad to see the malcontent gone. |

What if guys had acted that way towards him when he was a developing player? It was only 3 years ago that MANY on here believed him to be nothing more than a bench player. My how times have changed. |

I would love to be teammates with Jimmy. I question the heart of any man who wouldn't want a teammate like that. |

Butler was more productive than the executives and the head coach. Why do you love the executives? At work respect is earned, not given. Hoiberg hasn't earned it. |

Butler was more productive than the executives and the head coach. Why do you love the executives? At work respect is earned, not given. Hoiberg hasn't earned it. His criticisms weren't just reserved for Hoiberg and GarPax though. As has been "The Butler Experience" everyone's a target. He throws just about everyone under the bus. Defensive Players of the Year. Former MVP guys. Hardworking Rookies. No one is spared from the wrath of "top 20" Jimmy Butler. After awhile its like give it a rest. HE isn't the only player in the NBA that works hard. Not even the only guy on the BUll yet for the past 3 seasons (since he has become established and gotten paid conveniently) he has gone out of his way to distinguish himself from teammates and coaches. He hasn't accomplished that much as an NBA player. He isn't even Lebron lite as far as talent. |
