Pretty close if he isn't.

Disagree. Has won 50 plus games in spite of having injuries, trades and the like since he has been in L.A. Right there this year in terms of playoffs in spite of having 30 different players on the roster. One of the top 5 coaches in the game.

Anyone else see the irony of the board's biggest "Thibs" hater acting like regular season victories mean something to support his argument?

Nah CB. Doc has a ring and lost in 7 games in another NBA finals series. Thibs has to get his weight up considerably to be in that Conversation. Doc has also did a much better job of coaching his team this year (no surprise) than Thibs. I didn't want to bring that up in my critique of Doc because it would be tawdry and cheap. Not my style but since you mentioned it I'll indulge you with a little requisite Thibs bashing. If Thibs had accomplished anything close to that they'd be holding a parade for him. Hell they are willing to do it with greatest accomplishment having been that he defeated a dysfunctional Nets team.

I agree with you on this one but I'm really starting to wonder about what kind of guy Ray Allen is. There's always something outsider-ish about him and people you'd think were his "guys", but ultimately aren't.

Dang. Too bad we never got to see Paul on the Celtics.
