For the record I'm still rolling but losing to Boston is a bad look. You can't lose to a team missing its top two players and consider yourself Championship timber. I'm not going to use the youth excuse either. They gave two games away and they really haven't looked (Simmons) in particular like they are yet prime time. Still doesn't excuse the fact that your little squad went out without a whimper during the first round and needed an overtime game on the last game of the year to make the playoffs. I will take the 2nd round exit in stride. Now how about the double down on that bet since you are so certain that they are a failure? should be easy money for an old hand such as yourself? |

You got Thibs, Taj, and Buckets not to mention Rose. You have turned "States" on them all of a sudden? |

Big difference. All or busts sports proclamations and outlooks are for fools. I have never looked at sports that way. You can be successful and still not win a championship. THat is another one of those talk show fallacies if you ask me. |

And he’s been phenomenal in the playoffs. I doubt any Boston fan still wants to run him out of town. |

discussing eastern conference basketball seems like a waste of time. just enjoy the 4 or 5 games you're going to get of Lebron putting up 50-15-15 and losing in the finals again |

This is the first actual year of the process and it still isn't fully actualized because of what has gone on with Fultz. How long has Harden been in Houston by the way? isn't this the 2nd or 3rd incarnation of their own form of "The Process"? The Cavs only became relevant because of Lebron James and you ask any GM in the league Philly is set up better going forward than Cleveland. Cleveland has a team that might or might not get out of the West and they had their own form of tanking going on shortly before James arrived. Celtics are in position to win because of one of the dumbest trades made in NBA history. Fat chance that this sort of trade will ever occur again. Only G.S. has built the way that you speak of and been successful. That is it. I can name a handful number of teams that have tried it that way and failed. I'm sure as is customary for you you will avoid it however. |

Walt is dumb for dissing the sixers. They'll be the team in the east if they stay together and remain healthy. Ltg is dumb for refusing to blame youth and inexperience for Philly's current predicament. And FF is just dumb generally. |

Yeah, that was a bad prediction, just like saying the Heat would definitely win 1 or even 2 more games against Philly was bad. I'm also not sure about the endless praise argument. I think I've complimented their bench like 2-3 times total over the course of the entire season. I do really like Delon Wright though. |
