Jamal Murray still out tonight for Denver; tho Nuggets are 2-0 with Maple Curry sidelined. Will Barton getting more minutes with Murray out, going 9-15 for 20 points in Denver's gob-smacking -25 point 2nd half deficit win over the dystopian Grizzlies. Decent plus-money on the Pelicans on Bovada, +315/+200/+145 game/1H/1Q. |

I thought that if he couldn't play for Gentry he couldn't play for anyone. Only gave him a chance once the other guys were hurt. Read where he had to beat out his cousin Emeka this fall for the spot. That is a helluva way to have to stay in the league. |

First thing i noticed in one of the first games he got run was his conditioning. He is in the best shape of his life it appears. I think that he had to humble himself. The TMZ stuff during his rookie was a bad look. Came off as Arrogant but 19 years old and already a millionaire would do that to a lot of people. He also battled depression the past year or so. Now he seems to be just hooping. |

I did find that very pathetic when I tuned into the big Jokic vs Embid game and Embid pussed out. They only play each other 2x per year, no excuse for Embid to choose that game for rest. |

They kept sending a double and sometimes a triple at him all night long. He will see him up the road. Hopefully it won't be from the bench
