If KD to the Knicks and AD to the Celts both happen and Draymond's skills continue to erode, Lebron will have an easy path to the Finals in the West til retirement; esp if they get Klay to sign with his dad's old team. PG's MVP level resurgence will end up being too-little-too-late, as Westbrook's shooting percentage drops into DRose with the Knicks territory.

DRose shot 21% from 3 during his stint with the Knicks. His career-low up to last season. 2P% doesn't mean much for guys like Westbrook and Rose, who pad their FG% with drives, dunks and lay-ups.

Westbrook currently shooting 24% from 3.

They're both terrible 3 point shooters but they both rely on those 2 point jump shots to create the drive/dunks/layup opportunities. Rose has always been the better 2 point jump shooter and his season with the Knicks was his best.

Even with the threat of Davis not signing with any other team, there's going to be better offers than what the Lakers can offer , even beyond that

First round picks ain't shit when the Lakers finish 8th in the west and draft 17ish. Lakers just don't have the roster to get him..it ain't happening.

Not gonna happen. Lakers have pulled out of the AD sweepstake because of outrageous demands from New Orleans. Apparenlty they wanted 6-8 first round picks. Not sure if that is in addition to or an alternative to what the Lakers were already offering which is their entire young core of Lonzo, Kuzma, Ingram, Hart and Zubic.

NO should send AD home to wait for the summer trade. No use taking a chance on AD getting injured and lowering his trade value.

Wonder how Magic feels knowing that the guy he traded in order to free up space for Ball made the All Star team. Got nothing out of it for trading him either.

NO knows those Lakers kids aren't that good. I think they are going to wait for the summer and then move him.

Lakers player development non-existent, other than Walton coaching em up on D a bit. Those young Lakers would be better off on the Spurs/Raptors/Bucks/Celts.

These trades always suck for the team with the best player. You're never gonna get equal value so then it becomes either about getting a high ceiling prospect in return (not possible on LA) and/or cap space to use on free agents. But no one is going to NO as a free agent so they're screwed there as well. The last thing is draft picks. But if you give up AD LA's future picks aren't going to be very valuable. I'd ask LA to sell Ball and those other guys to shitty teams like the Suns and Bulls for their unprotected picks. Then I'd take those picks and whatever salaries I need to make the deal work in a three way trade. That's the only way I see NO getting a decent return with LA as the principal partner.
