Great. He can be the new Kevin Love. Lebron's whipping boy who he will tell the media is the reason they don't win.

No one has ever aged with his skill set and conditioning regimen before. So I guess we’ll see the way his numbers change as he gets closer to 40.

LeBron has stated multiple times he wants to play with his son in the NBA.

At this rate, Lebrons kid will be the only one who wants to play with him

Bulls 1st round pick would be much much higher. Throw in Wendell Carter and Markkanen. Carmelo too.

In 2 years he's gone though and we are left with dick. Imo our only shot is to fire Pax and get a top 2 pick this year.

Not enough. Nawlins should tell Davis to go pound sand til July 1st, when the Celts/Knicks will be able to join in on the bidding for AD.

Boston will get him, I hope it goes down and the East is King again. Plus Kyrie won't leave and Lakers are continually fucked.

If KD to the Knicks and AD to the Celts both happen and Draymond's skills continue to erode, Lebron will have an easy path to the Finals in the West til retirement; esp if they get Klay to sign with his dad's old team. PG's MVP level resurgence will end up being too-little-too-late, as Westbrook's shooting percentage drops into DRose with the Knicks territory.

You know his year with the Knicks was one of his best shooting seasons of his career right?

DRose shot 21% from 3 during his stint with the Knicks. His career-low up to last season. 2P% doesn't mean much for guys like Westbrook and Rose, who pad their FG% with drives, dunks and lay-ups.

Westbrook currently shooting 24% from 3.

They're both terrible 3 point shooters but they both rely on those 2 point jump shots to create the drive/dunks/layup opportunities. Rose has always been the better 2 point jump shooter and his season with the Knicks was his best.

edit* not his best, but top 3

Lakers’ first offer to Pelicans for AD, per Adrian Wojnarowski:
- Lonzo Ball
- Kyle Kuzma
- Rajon Rondo
- Michael Beasley
- 1st round pick

That's laughable. More 1st rounders plus Brandon Ingram and then it looks better.

What a pile of garbage

Even with the threat of Davis not signing with any other team, there's going to be better offers than what the Lakers can offer , even beyond that

First round picks ain't shit when the Lakers finish 8th in the west and draft 17ish. Lakers just don't have the roster to get him..it ain't happening.

Not gonna happen. Lakers have pulled out of the AD sweepstake because of outrageous demands from New Orleans. Apparenlty they wanted 6-8 first round picks. Not sure if that is in addition to or an alternative to what the Lakers were already offering which is their entire young core of Lonzo, Kuzma, Ingram, Hart and Zubic.

Lakers roster sucks. Good for New Orleans for now. Have LA trade their junk for better junk to include in a deal for Davis.

NO should send AD home to wait for the summer trade. No use taking a chance on AD getting injured and lowering his trade value.

Wonder how Magic feels knowing that the guy he traded in order to free up space for Ball made the All Star team. Got nothing out of it for trading him either.

NO knows those Lakers kids aren't that good. I think they are going to wait for the summer and then move him.

If NO did this, wouldn't they essentially be what the Lakers are now minus James ? They've sucked without him so why would that give NO any hope for the future

Lakers player development non-existent, other than Walton coaching em up on D a bit. Those young Lakers would be better off on the Spurs/Raptors/Bucks/Celts.

These trades always suck for the team with the best player. You're never gonna get equal value so then it becomes either about getting a high ceiling prospect in return (not possible on LA) and/or cap space to use on free agents. But no one is going to NO as a free agent so they're screwed there as well. The last thing is draft picks. But if you give up AD LA's future picks aren't going to be very valuable. I'd ask LA to sell Ball and those other guys to shitty teams like the Suns and Bulls for their unprotected picks. Then I'd take those picks and whatever salaries I need to make the deal work in a three way trade. That's the only way I see NO getting a decent return with LA as the principal partner.
