Never much liked him and the 2010 thing with the Bulls permanently put Bulls fans off of him but he’s one of the most underrated players of my lifetime. His fellow peers seem to have an idea how good he is but most basketball fans I’ve talked to don’t. Anyway, fuck him still, Dirk was better. Not many others were though. |

I haven’t thought about this much but he’s probably the best player in my lifetime that never won a MVP. |

This is part of the reason why the NBA is a mess now. Having the players collude to team up and play in only a few markets. It might be fun and ideal for them, but part of the reason to be a fan is to believe that your team has a shot to be great through smart drafting and moves. Now it feels like it's star players playing kingmaker and only a few markets are in. It's better for the league if the players have less control over where they play. |

You can't dismiss them because it doesn't the narrative. Golden State is really the only team that fits that narrative anymore and even they won a title before becoming a super team. I don't think GS will lose to anyone this year but Milwaukee is almost certainly set up to be a contender the next few years and if/when Durant leaves this summer will likely be the odds on favorite to win the title next year. |

Second best shooting guard of all time, as evidenced by his actually being the top dog on a championship team with Shaq instead of just a Robin along for the ride. I actually think if anything he's more underrated by players than fans. Pierce just had the audacity to claim he's had a better career than Wade and there was a TNT show a few years ago about the best 10 players since the NBA 50 list where Barkley and Shaq were being huge haters. |
