If it weren't such a gift to a friend, I'd say Garnett to Boston would be a close second.

I'd place Rasheed going to Detroit in there also.

On June 16, 1975 the Milwaukee Bucks traded Walt Wesley to the Los Angeles Lakers. Oh, and they included Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as well

Must have been some trade considering that his career ended 30 years ago. Maybe it was one of those Luol like retire as a Laker deals that he was referencing.

Abdul-Jabbar won six titles and six MVP awards, and finished as the league's all-time scorer. He retired in 1989 and is widely considered one of the greatest players in NBA history, and his talent was celebrated as early as high school.

Chris Webber for Penny Hardway and 3 1st round picks could've been among the best, except the Magic Magic'd:

The Charles Barkley to Phoenix was a good deal.
Also acquiring Dirk was a great deal for Dallas.

A lot of NBA trades are unknown initially considering the picks and rookies can be totally hit or miss.
