Claims Lebron is ducking Kawhi. Probably got it directly from Kuzma himself. https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/283 ... r-comments Quote: Parks, posting to his Instagram story under his handle keolanakealoha, wrote on Thursday, "Watching Kawhi highlights from yesterday. NOBODY wants to speak on how sharp his skill set is compared to Lebrons. It's clear who's really in the LAB and who isn't. Let me hear the excuses I'm on vacation I got nothing but time."
Parks also posted a photo of James standing next to Leonard and wrote the caption "Turn the film on somebody was dodging SMOKE yesterday and it wasn't Kawhi." He accompanied the post with a shaka hand emoji and a checkered flag emoji, which was likely a reference to the late L.A. hip-hop artist Nipsey Hussle's song "Victory Lap." |

Also probably pissed that Lebron actively pursued a guy that plays his position. |

Had to chuckle at some of the guys on ESPN so cavalierly declaring Lebron still "the best player on the planet" the other day. He isn't and hasn't been for at least the last 3 seasons. He is barely cracking top 5 at this point. |

It had more to do with the Lakers excluding him from the deal. They knew they'd get AD anyway and including him along with everything else would have been simply too much. |

When Lebron actively lobbies for guys just to be competitive then he has to relinquish the title of best player in the world. Its always top 5 caliber guys too. |

He's at the point in his career where you can't expect him to guard the other team's best player beyond a few times down the court. About 7 years ago he would. MJ and Kobe changed their games too at the end. Outside of the 2nd and 3rd matchup against the Warriors he's never been a killer. It's not who he is. I say all of this as a guy who was the biggest LeBron hater until about 5 years ago. |

Its why i used to find it laughable that he was regarded as the "best defender" in the league. He wasn't checking top guys then either. |
