Kinda deserves its own thread. Lost Hawger as a season ticket holder. Will be interesting to see what comes of it (lol nothing) |

Well at least baseball's position as the second major sport is forever made secure. Pretty remarkable considering MLB spent the last ten years actively ruining baseball any way they could, but hey! |

Yawn, it’ll just harden both polarized sides. |

Looks like it may have been just postponed. It's a meaningless gesture anyway. They will stomp the Magic in the next game no matter what. It'll mean more if they forfeit a Finals game. |

I'm sure this will bring about as much change to police procedure as the 3 months of looting and rioting has. |

There is no bottom with MLB PR |

That is bullshit, I read the Magic wanted to play. If so, should be a forfeit. But I am sure Silver doesn't have a dick. |

There is zero chance the NBA lets it go down as forfeit. Which of course robs the gesture of what little significance it had. |

Yeah, fuck Silver if he convinced the Magic to also boycott, which turns it all into a meaningless postponement. |

What type of protest is both effective and acceptable? It seems to me that people will complain about or dismiss anything which garners attention. Many claim that they support "peaceful" protests, but do they really? |

This is what happens when you are banned by rule from kneeling without special permission from the commissioner. |

The forfeit would still be meaningless. It's the fucking Magic. They could forfeit the next game too and not sweat. |

The Bucks players will almost certainly still get paid the same amount as if they played and the game wont even go down as a forfeit. There are no stakes, nothing to give up. They rail against this establishment but the establishment does nothing but coddle and accommodate them. Its just so phony and most people sense that about it, even if people cant say exactly why. |

This is truly bizarre. I wonder if the NBA bubble experiment has driven the players to the edge. |

Interesting situation for you. Your pissed right now, so maybe not the best time but is this something you put on the players and owner? Like would new ownership bring you back? |

What salary do players receive for playoffs games? Good opportunity to get away from the bubble and return to normal life. |
