Riley vs his old team
LBJ vs his old team and coach
LBJ vs Riley

And how the hell did the 2019-2020 Miami Heat make it this far?

Well, Milwaukee was a basket case, all distracted from good citizen Jacob Blake, but Boston? That's a mystery.

Glad to see the Heat in the Finals (Bubble or not) they did it without "tanking"

Possibly the most unheralded Finals team since...the early 2000s Pistons? Even those guys had relatively more star power than these guys. Both Wallaces, Billups, and Hamilton were all-star caliber players. As was Prince to a lesser extent.

Pistons had more talent this his team. This team is on the level of the 99 Knicks talent wise.

Even then...Allan Houston was pretty good/dangerous. Sprewell was semi-all star type. Now that I think about it though it's probably a good example.

I don’t think we know how good Bam Outofthebayou and Tyler Herro are going to be.

All those pistons and Knicks players were proven commodities.

They are about the closest I can think of. Those Nets and Sixer teams were shitty too but they did have 2 Hall of Famers in Iverson and Kidd serving as the best players.

With Bam I think we do know though. That guy is a stud. Herro not as proven but he has come up huge for them.

The Bam/AD match-up will the primary interest for me in this series. I would rather have seen Boston but watching Bam defend AD should be interesting.

That matchup is Miami's shot at winning. I doubt there will be much zoning going on

I hope Bam Outofthebayou takes off as a nickname. Me and the wife have been calling him that for the past month or so ever since we heard Kendrick Perkins butcher his name that way. Then a week ago we saw Kendrick on the Jump and he still called him Outofthebayou. Love it.

I heard it on Lebatard right before they brought Perkins on for an interview.

I assumed they created it, but it may have been Perk.

It is a great nickname.

it was definitely Perk. I'm just glad to hear that others have picked up on his awesome mispronunciation of the name and are running with it. I thought it was just me and my wife who noticed.

I thought it was a one off, but then when he mispronounced it a month later I knew we had a keeper.

Man I forgot how much Lebron tried to punk out Pat Riley in 2014.

The problem the Heat have Butler and Bam will have to spend to much energy on the Defensive end...can't see them matching Ad and LeBron
