Seems like every time I watch them they are wearing something different. Which is weird since they've had a classic look for years. The shit they're wearing tonight looks awful. I know the answer. They want to sell more shit. But nobody would buy these jerseys. It's light blue. It's not even their colors. And last year I think they wore black uniforms. |

Maybe a nod to the Minneapolis days? |

As a kid, I always thought it was cool that they were the only team without white uniforms. Gold at home. Purple on the road. It made them special. They went to white uniforms in the Kobe years. But they would only wear them on Sundays. |

That was probably just for last year I'm guessing. |

Every NBA team can have up to five jerseys now with no home/road distinction. The old home jersey is now the "association" jersey to represent everyone being in the NBA together because all the jerseys are white. The old road jersey is the "icon" jersey because the jerseys are fully in the teams' colors, which makes them iconic. The alternate jersey is the "statement" jersey because it allows teams to make a bold statement by wearing different colors or arranging them differently. The fourth jersey is the "city" jersey, which pays tribute to the city the team is in. If the team makes the playoffs, they get a fifth jersey, the "earned" jersey, because they earned a bonus uniform. I am not making any of this up. |
