Really like Jabari Smith's game. Think he will be a really good pro. Chet Holmgren is the biggest wildcard in the draft. Could be great. Could be a bust. I tend to see a bust. Just not sure he can add the physical strength he is going to need. I think the best pick in the draft is going to be Ivey out of Purdue. He has all the tools, and he appears to be in the same mold as Ayo a kid who just wants to be good and will work at his craft. Bulls should have a few decent choices at 18. Most mock drafts I see have them going for a big. That is definitely a need, but I would love to see Agbaji fall to them. |

Kings haven't made the playoffs in 16 seasons, since 2006 under Adelman. In a league where 54 percent of the teams make the playoffs and two-thirds either make the playoffs or play-in since 2020. Kings haven't even made the play-in. Kings haven't won 40 games since 2006; 39 in 2019 their best since 06. They've failed to win 30 games 8 of those 16 seasons. Kings picked in the lottery every year since except 2019--when they did not have a 1st round pick due to a trade. 15 lottery picks they'll have made since last making the playoffs. Spurs made zero (0) lottery picks between 1997 and 2020 and won 5 titles while making the playoffs every season. Kings highest draft pick was #2 in 2018, when they took Marvin Bagley over: Luka Dončić (3) Jaren Jackson (4) Trae Young (5) Mikal Bridges (10), Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (11) Miles Bridges (12) Mike Brown will be their 12th head coach since they let Adelman walk after '06. Next longest playoff drought: Charlotte 6 years. |

Cockburn with NBA money would make Zion look like a fitness enthusiast. |

Damn it, I hate seeing Ivey go to Detroit. That is going to be a problem for the Bulls. |

I liked Banchero a lot, to the point I thought I was missing something when the consensus seemed that a guy like Chet would go ahead of him. I can’t say I watched a lot of Auburn basketball last year but I’d you’d have told me Banchero was a lock for #1 - and I hadn’t read any of the pre-draft coverage - I wouldn’t have thought twice. |

This lady host is a tough listen right now. Some producer needs to settle her down a bit - talking a mile a minute and dominating conversations with the analysts. She also does the thing where she says ‘right?’ whenever she makes a point. Spiegel-esque. |

EJ Liddell was someone many mocks had going to the Bulls in the first round and he is still on the board. |

Centers taken from Senegal, France, Serbia, and the Congo in the 2nd round. Yet no Kofi. |

Let's celebrate Title IX by having female pros miss their team games in order to broadcast another league's off season side show. Empowering! |

Sorry to see Lucas Williamson not get picked. The Clippers signed him for a look. I think he's a guy who can stick in the league. |

She's getting better as she loses the (Warriors) fan girl stuff imo. But I'll take this opportunity to say how much I enjoy ESPN giving JJ Redick and Big Perk a good platform. And that I didn't like either in the beginning. |
