Yeah and they had to lock up with much better competition than Steph and Klay to get rings also. And in 2 of Steph and Klay's Championships, neither Steph nor Klay were the best players on their own team. Durant was. Sort of lessens their greatness as a result. To Be Honest Kyrie/Luka are better too, but they won't have the same body of work as Steph and Klay when it's all over. Kyrie is 32 and won't have enough time to get their accomplishment wise. But as a backcourt, they're better |

The game as played at their respective times is too different. Curry and Thompson are shooters. Isiah and Dumars do everything else in the game better. |

I don’t think it diminishes the Pistons to say that Curry fundamentally altered the way basketball is played and also happens to be the greatest shooter in the history of the sport. And umm, klay was there too. |

There's no scenario Dumars would be an impact player in this NBA. |

I watched Bobby Phills routinely give Jordan fits on the defensive end. That's basically what Dumars is known for. Dumars was an excellent role player in that era. Klay was a star when he had knees. |

Klay was an underrated defender but I agree with everything else. There is no way that bullfighter Steph could check Zeke, Dumars or even the Microwave off the bounce. |

In an old school game of 2 on 2 "for that money" as we used to call them, Zeke and Dumars would kill Steph and Klay. Steph can't check either of those 2 off the dribble, and Klay can't dribble well enough to get his own look. It would be tough. |

The Doctor Of Style wrote: Douchebag wrote: Joe Dumars would be a plumber in today's world. He played in a better era. Because of the style of play of that era. His style wouldn't work in this era. He's nowhere near the player Curry Jr is or the two way player Klay was before injuries. That means you are saying Zeke alone was essentially better than Curry and Klay. It's debatable that he was better than Curry. |

Neither Thomas nor Dumars could guard Steph. Assume you’d matchup Dumars on him as he’s the better defender and Thomas is giving away 5 or 6 inches on Klay. |
