Why would they fire him? I know the Pistons are terrible, but shit-canning the guy after one season seems to be a shitty move.

Monty Williams was fired on Juneteenth.

It sounds like Langdon was fine with Williams. It sounds like the owner and Arn Tellem wanted him gone. It just seems like something you do immediately after a leadership transition.

I'm not going to pretend I've seen every Knicks game, but the numbers say he played his best players less than many other playoff teams did. Also, load management hasn't reduced injuries. It appears guys get hurt more with load management.
