I feel bad for anyone not following the NBA right now. These are some of the most exciting regular season games I have ever seen. Every game among the West's elite over the next couple months has HUGE ramifications.

Kobe Bryant absolutely killed Dallas in the 4th quarter this afternoon. He was completely unstoppable offensively, came up with a huge rebound after 2 missed FTs, has played fantastic defense.

This is basically basketball being played at the highest level. Just great offense and defense by both teams. I think Dallas is definitely going to be in the mix for the West in May.

As Im writing this Dirk hits a 3 pointer to tie the game 93-93 with 2 seconds left and they are going to overtime.

i had alluded to this before in another thread but i love ABC's sunday double headers because they're almost always great games to watch.

both games today were outstanding. lot of great highlights and a lot of energy.

this is the best time to start watching basketball in general because both college and pro levels are red hot at this point. lot of urgency.

edit: second game STILL going on after all 8) overtime!!!

Every year at this time I watch games and think to myself: HOLY **** HOW FAR AWAY ARE THE BULLS FROM THIS LEVEL!

Depressing, my friend.

Great game between Dallas and LA. Dirk with the big 3 with 2 seconds remaining to send the game to OT.

Those Western Conference Playoffs are going to be great.

Brandon Bass is definitely one of my favorite players in the league.

i'm also glad that abc dropped the "dancing sluts" routine between commercial breaks. that was always the one and only thing that annoyed me about the broadcasts.

although i am tiring quickly of mike tirico.

when they strip they're fine. but these had to keep their jerseys on, and that just isn't sexy because...they're not naked, and they're whorish looking. whores should be naked. it's the law.

You didn't like the Pussycat Doll's lead singer? That girl is fine as hell. I didn't mind her taking me into the commercial breaks.

. . . and the Eastern Conference Playoffs should be relegated to the channel that runs the Tour de France. . . I can't even remember what it's called.

Something tells me Kobe saw what LeBron did and decided to one up him. Games like that just show you even more how much better he is than any other player in the game.

Im as big a Kobe fan Im assuming as anyone on this board, but I wouldnt say hes much, much better than LeBron. I think those two are clearly the best in the league, and I domt think LeBron is far behind. But yes, today was another example of why Kobe is without a doubt the best post-MJ NBA player.

Except any combination of Celtics, Cavs, and Pistons. Lebron is playing in the wrong conference right now.
