Post subject:  1st round = yawn
Good for the Hawks for winning a second off of the Celtics. The only 2-2 playoff series are Det-Phi and Bos-Atl, you all know neither Philly or Atlanta has much chance of getting another win. The rest of the series have absolutely sucked, mostly double digit victories and very non dramatic stories/games. For the "best conference" story ever these playoff series in the West fucking suck. Hopefully the second round improves. I don't watch much so I defer to the Favres and the Bagels of the world to challenge my vent.

Some of these series have been more one-sided than I expected, especially Phoenix / San Antonio. The next round will be better.

I hear you. If the Suns force a game 6 back in Phoenix though that series becomes very interesting. The only disagreement I have is the "We know Philly isnt getting another win." I dont see Atlanta getting another W, but I think Philly can win that series. Its a terrible matchup for the Pistons. If the Pistons dont win game 5, I think they lose the series in 6 games.

The second round will be alot better although I dont know how good New Orleans will be against the Spurs. They have the type of team defense that could possibly frustrate Paul, although he killed them in the regular season. LA/Utah could be a fantastic series also.

i don't know, i think the sixers had to win game 4, and they looked primed to do it most of the game, then they let the pistons take over. that might have killed their confidence...it's good they'll get another game in philly but detroit's going to come out strong in game 5.

Thats the thing about Detroit though, they are so unpredictable. You would think they would come out strong in game 5, but they dont ever seem to play their hardest unless actually facing elimination.
