Let's do this.

Everybody wins their home games until game 7. Kobe scores 60 at Boston in game 7 to win his 4th title.

Im looking forward to the game. I really doubt your scenario though. I'd be shocked if Boston won the first two games of the series.

It'll be interesting to see how Boston handles him. I find it funny that some people point to how Boston limited LeBron as evidence that Kobe could struggle. They are completely different players and Kobe's jump shot is miles ahead of LeBron's. Posey is gonna need to play alot in this series.

Kobe is going to have to see face cutouts of the former Laker girl he fooled around with. Classy Beantowners...

The Boston fans will be silenced. Six or seven games.

The Celts get swept on the road? They get one.

The Lakers have a team to run the system with the best player to get 40+ each game.

I know Zach wont agree but Im glad we are getting the Breen, Van Gundy, Jackson booth for this series. I usually dont care for announcers but this booth is really good.

Kobe needs to facilitate alot better than he has, especially considering how good Boston's help defense is. Theres way too much 1 on 1 ball going on right now from the Lakers. One thing Boston has going for them is its obvious Ray Allen really knows how to play Kobe.

If Rondo can hit those open 15 footers its gonna change the Lakers defense drastically. That could be one of the keys to this series.

Cassell is about to come in the game for Rondo. Let's see if Phil presses him like he should.

Yeah Garnett is definitely playing like a superstar so far tonight. I hate how Cassell plays when he gets in the game. He's made his shots so far but the way he dribbles with the ball for 9 seconds with his back to the basket are possession killers. Jesus is playing well, as are all the Big Three. Its interesting how determined the Lakers are to keep doubling Pierce, Im not sure its that necessary, although it is a bad matchup for them.

The Lakers started playing team ball again in the 2nd, led by Kobe. Boston's pick n roll defense has been horrible in the first half. Alot of times surprisingly that has been Kevin Garnett. He needs to put himself and his teammates in better positions, although he has played well offensively.

It's not looking good for Boston. It's kind of reminiscent of the Spurs series where the Lakers would really get going in the 2nd quarter and the Spurs would come out adjusting in the 2nd half and Kobe would just take over any individual matchup.

You know. I just saw a hockey player take a puck to the face, skate off on his own power, tape the broken nose, and come back out and play.

Now I see this pussy Pierce have to be carried off - literally - by teammates and put in a wheel chair. On top of it the SOB is crying.

LIMP OFF THE COURT PUSSY. AT MOST PUT YOUR ARMS AROUND TWO TEAMMATES.

My God that is pathetic. These guys should be embarrased to have that treatment.

I'll bet you it's not even a serious injury.

I called it. Paul Pierce comes running back onto the court.

It's a miracle.

No. It was never that bad in the first place.

meh...you never know.

but i'll tell you if you're disgusted by that, watch soccer players when they go down. you'd have to melt the academy award from some cheaper metal to be able to give enough of these out...

if you watch any of the euro 2008 this weekend, you'll probably see at least 4 or 5 guys pretend to be DYING, and then get up three minutes later like nothing happened. it's all about being dramatic...

Did you not listen to Tafoya? The doctors wouldnt let him put pressure on it, he wanted to. That was a dumb post, and no he was not crying. He's coming back to play on a sprained knee.

Whatever. He could have just said he's fine. Christ. He went all the way back to the locker room only to get up and sprint back into the game.

That might have been the most pathetic moment in NBA Finals history. I'm dead serious.

I don't care what you say. He's a pussy and he was crying.

By the way, it was kind of sexy watching Michele stalk him back to the locker room while he was in the wheel chair.

Another thing: This is a pretty good game.

Oh my God!!

Now Mark Jackson is comparing Pierce to Willis Reed.

One problem Mark. Pierce was never hurt.

Are you even watching? He wasnt crying, and he has a sprained knee. He didnt go back for nothing, he needed to get it wrapped up.

This is a good, physical game. Im looking forward to the 4th quarter.

No offense Beardown but you dont know what you are talking about is you think Pierce is a pussy. He's one of the tougher players in the league. But I agree, comparing it to Willis Reed is just stupid.

None taken. I'm not gonna fall for it. He did tweak it obviously but he laid on the floor for an hour. He could have limped to the bench where they could have wrapped it.

He knew it wasn't that bad.

C'mon, you don't do all of those dramatics only to sprint back to the court.

i think this'll be an as-advertised great series. it looks like both of these teams are the heavyweights and it's always great to see that.

Yeah and they already have the animosity towards eachother usually not seen till Game 5 or 6. I think its a big mistake playing Cassell over House at this point, but if thats the worst mistake Doc makes in the series Celtics fans will be thrilled.

Kobe has to take over now. He will. The Celtics can still win it though.

It will come down to the final minute.

 Sounds good. That would be an interesting booth.

Doc really needs to get Sam Cassell's corpse out of the game right now. He is really hurting them.
