When winning, will everyone talk about how Kobe Bryant's supporting cast has really stepped up and is pretty good? When losing, will everyone talk about how Kobe Bryant's supporting cast isn't very good and it's not Kobe's fault they are losing? |

Let's hope that they can play team ball and hit an outside shot. That's what really hurt the other teams that have lost. A lack of three point shooters really hurt in the international game. Also, I think this group may care a little bit more than some of the other teams. |

Seriously, are they really referring to it as the "Dream Team"? There was only one team that fit that description my friends, and Scottie was on it. |

Its basically on Coach K. They have the talent to shoot the long ball, move the ball on offense, and rotate defensively. Those are really the only three things you need to do in the international game that are not, unfortunately, done regularly in the NBA. If they do those three things effectively, there talent alone should carry them to a title. I dont think they will win the gold though. Through recent history too many countries have wanted it more and outplayed the USA for the title. If you are asking me to be the field vs. the USA, I'll take the field anyday. |

They seem to be short on big men & low post presence, and I'm not so sure they'll be in contention for a bronze medal in Beijing, let alone the gold. I'll be very interested to see if those guys will mesh together and understand their roles right away. While the world wants our best players representing the Red, White & Blue in International competition, the argument for and against NBA players will rage long after the flame is extinguished. |
