Not that I expect the Bulls to make a play for him considering that they are again taking their sweet time in dealing with Deng and Gordon, but Monta Ellis is a restricted free agent, and there are rumors that several teams are interested (Miami and Cleveland on top of the list).

I know the salaries would not work, and GS would have to put somebody back into the deal, but I'd be willing to move Hinrich and Gordon for starters, and outside of Marian going from Miami, that's probably as good as either of those two teams can offer.

Not getting my hopes up, and not expecting anything to come from this, plus I have my doubts GS would let both Davis and Ellis leave, but seeing some news about Ellis possibly being available, and if I were the Paxson/Reinsdorf GM combo, I'd take a look.

I cannot see GS being dumb enough to let Davis and Ellis go in the same offseason, but if they were willing I would think the Bulls would be wise to look into it.

I'd give up alot for Ellis, but I dont see it working. If GS was smart, a stretch, they would build their team around this kid. He was probably one of the 10-15 best players in the league last year.

Reportedly out 3, possibly 4 months

Horrible, horrible news. Devastating.
