I know that some portion of Rondo's success is due to playing with the Big 3. How much is what I'm wondering. His numbers this year are pretty damn good. 10 points isn't a lot, but 5 reb, 7.5 ast, 3+ ast/To, 2+ stls, 51% FG is pretty impressive in just over 30 MPG. The guy is turning into a triple double threat every night.

His confidence seems to be sky high and he's even holding his own against some of the top tier PG's. Chris Paul kinda outplayed him on Friday- Paul shot poorly but had a ton of assists, but last night he clearly outplayed Deron Williams.

I thought that the supplementary players like Rondo and Kendrick Perkins would obviously benefit from playing with the big 3 but i think Rondo has surpassed that. Still, I can't help but wonder if he were on a team like the Wizards or Timberwolves how good would he be.

I don't think he'd be much good at all. He's undersized and doesn't have a dependable three point shot. He just doesn't impress me, he and Poe...

He's a PG. They're not supposed to be 7 ft. Plus that makes it even more impressive that he's getting 5 rebounds a game.

But I respect your opinion, it's not like I think he's the second coming of Magic, was just curious as to what the group felt and I can see your points

Rondo was actually an exceptional rebounder coming out of kentucky. His second and last year at UK he averaged like 6 boards a game. I remember a game against Iowa his soph year that he had some crazy amount of rebounds, like 18 or 19.
