Yeah. Waiting to see what creative shit they come up with for the dunk contest.

Horse (aka Geico) was pretty lame. Missed the Shooting Stars bit except for Laimbeer's sweet half-court shot.

Rose looked real smooth in the first round of the skill competition. I expected Parker to win it and he looked awful and is out.

Yes it is.

Man Rose did not even look like he was trying and he smoked the competition. Nice dunk, almost hit his head on the rim.

Awful 3 point contest.

That dunk was unreal. I've only been half-watching, but when I heard Rose was up I checked in. Great stuff.

Agree on the 3-point contest. It was one of the worst I have ever seen.

Maybe I am just strange, but IMO it is more impressive how Nate Robinson dunks at his size, compared to the dunks Howard does, even the one with the rim higher.

Well, you ARE strange, but I haven't been watching the dunk contest, so I'm unable to comment on that!

This dunk contest was a joke. The 12 foot dunk was gay. Robinson jumping off Chandler's back was bad. Only good dunk was Howard's off the side of the back board. These guys from TNT are a joke. Kenny keeps saying it was a great dunk contest. No it wasn't. Maybe if you make Lebron, Kobe, VC, and others do it, then it might be great

I thought the dunk contest was better than the 3 pt contest, but neither was real good.

Rose really did well in the skills challenge; won it easily, both rounds, and put a genuine exclamation point on it at the end. They remarked that "this kid" should be in the slam dunk contest, and I agree. I cringed when he accepted the trophy. It's truly remarkable how humble and genuinely averse to praise he is. I find this true to a somewhat worrying extent.

The three-point contest, as others have noted, was embarrassingly bad. It's amazing how bad it was. Totally unimpressive.

I thought the dunk contest was better than you guys did. For anyone, Nate Robinson or otherwise, to jump over Dwight Howard is astonishing. I'm amazed he had the sack to try it. The green uniform was quite clever, IMO. Howard's last dunk was also impressive; he should have had the rim at an even more impressive height on the prior dunk, because it was clear he could pull it off.

I found an interesting dynamic in the final; two flat-out physical freaks. It's incredible how athletic each man is, but for different reasons: Robinson's leaping ability compared to his stature is insane, whereas Howard's athleticism, and frankly, physique, is beyond belief for a man of his stature. Not the best dunk contest, but fairly compelling, I thought.

Fernandez had the 2 best dunks of the night. I think it should count for something when he nailed his first one on the first attempt. Howard needed 10 tries and his first one wasn't even that impressive.

The 3 point and Dunk competitions were jokes. Horribly unentertaining.

They need to eliminate the horse competition or add a little flavor to it and they really need a better trophy.

Horse was the only part of it I watched...had a few entertaining moments, but overall, it was pretty boring...and I completely agree on the trophy...I get they were trying to be funny, but you would think with the GEICO tie-in they could have shelled out for a proper trophy...
