 The Sporting News reports: Ron Artest says he drank alcohol during games as a member of the Bulls, in part because the team lost so frequently. "I used to drink Hennessy ... at halftime," said Artest, who played with the Bulls from 1999-2002 and now is with the Lakers. "I (kept it) in my locker. I'd just walk to the liquor store (near the stadium) and get it." |

Judging by the team records during the Tim Floyd years I find this entirely possible. 99-00 17-65 00-01 15-67 01-02 21-61 That is a lot of losing and not caring. I could see him sneaking a swig or two, but not coming out all jacked up. |

I initially thought he was lying also, but he has admitted to some weird stuff. Like being a part-time employee at Cirucuit City while he played w/ the Bulls so he could get the discount. And approaching a nude Kobe in the shower after a playoff loss.

I don't know what's more unbelieveable...That Artest admitted to drinking Hennessy at halftime during the Tim Floyd era as Bulls' head coach or that he was wearing nothing but boxers during a recent appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live"... |
