I love how Avery Johnson said New Jersey would be a good fit for Lebrawn after the Cavs were eliminated. Now I see why. He was using his ESPN pulpit to publicly campaign for Lebrawn, knowing he'd be coaching the Nets. I like the gall. |

If I were a free agent I would stay away from any Avery coached team. The good news for Doc Rivers is he just went up a notch on my worst NBA coaches list. FF should be happy about this. |

Im a casual NBA fan. I remember Avery being the toast of the town for finally getting the Mavs to play defense. (His pronounciation of Transistion Defense is GOLD) WAA Happen? |

They just had a commercial for Nets season tickets, and one of the things it said on the screen was a picture of Avery and "Fastest coach to 150 wins".
