I wish him nothing but the best in his quest to win a world championship," Izzo said in a statement released by the school. "Just as I decided to stay home, I hope a 6-8, 270-pound forward in Cleveland decides to stay home." The Spartans have scheduled an 8:30 p.m. ET news conference with Izzo, school president Lou Anna Simon and athletic director Mark Hollis. |

Smart move for Izzo. Why leave, when you're one of the favorites next season, and Lebron may leave. |

Anyone know the range his salary would have been? I'm glad he decided to stay at MS but he's done every thing at the college level so I'm a bit surprised he doesn't test the waters of the NBA. I guess LeBron still undecided played a big factor and he's already got a nice payday at St |

5 or 6 years for $30 mil for the life of the contract, approx 2x's what MSU pays him. |
