In the same world where Pryzbilla makes over seven million, I guess.

These signing makes Deng's and Hinrich's deals look like a steal.

Does GarPax wish he could renege on the Hinrich deal now?

I can't agree with that statement and neither do the Bulls, who unloaded Hinrich only because they couldn't dump Deng. Both of those 2 are overpriced big time.

Hinrich is a quality defender but just could never get his shot down. He had a few games which were impressive but just could never become a consistent factor on the offensive end. Never developed the confidence IMO.

Probably so. That's probably why he didn't make the Deng to Portland deal official.

Deng got $10M too much over 6 years and Hinrich probably got $8M too much. That's about $1.6M a year for both. Based on the contracts passed out to guys like Haywood and others that is chump change.

Deng got 71M for 6 years and is worth 54M IMO. Paxson had to make a decision and gave the money to Deng to keep him from free agency and is now stuck with him and his history of injuries and lack of clutch shooting. Hinrich got 5 years 47.5M and is worth 30M IMO. He'd have walked via Free Agency also so Pax coughed up the cash and his productivity actually declined significantly on the offensive end. At least he plays defense so he was pretty easy to move. Bottom line is the Bulls are retooling and with the cap space they have to play with now, we'll see who they add and what type of team they put together. Hopefully they've done their homework and don't give away money to non productive guys. We'll see.
