In his final game with the Cavs. LBJ had 27pts, 19rebs, and 10ast. Plus he had found out his teammate was dogging his mom just a few days prior. If that's a quitter, what is a grinder? |

So the argument is Lebron wasnt great enough for some viewers? Did you see his teammates? |

Now you sound like the Les Grobstein and everyone who calls his show. I respect most of ure comments, but I cant ride with that logic. He gave Cleveland enough for 7 years. That's my opinion. It's not like he pulled a Joe Johnson or anything. |

"what's pulling a Joe Johnson" ? also struggling with the fact that you don't feel James quit. it doesn't matter if jj hickson quit too....you lead by example. when your leader quits that doesn't exactly light a fire under the rest of the team |

Yes, he definitely had a fantastic game, but you could visibly see that he just wanted the season to be over in the last few minutes. I'm not stating some opinion just because they lost the game. Something definitely didn't look right between LBJ and his teammates in the final minutes. |

DeLonte West was banging his mom!!!!!! It wouldnt bug you if one of your boys was sleeping with your mom? It wouldnt make you question a few things? |

See thats where LeBron and Jordan differ....cause Jordan would have been the one banging Delonte West's mom.....Then he would have went out and dropped 50 in the game that night. |

So that didn't effect him in the first 44 minutes of the game, and then it suddenly did down the stretch? That doesn't really make any sense. |

I cant play mindreader here. I dont know his personality well enough to tell you when the breaking point would occur. Maybe watching Rondo abuse Mo Williams for the 1000th time that series was all he could take. |

Jbills, it sounds like you're being an apologist. I understand you're a Lebron fan (hell, I'm still a Lebron fan), but c'mon...his lack of effort was visible down the stretch in that game. He committed unforced turnovers, passed on open shots, passed on open routes to the lane, and he didn't defend. I might allow some latitude for the DeLonte West thing, but not much. He's a professional, bottom line. If he's rattled enough to let something like that effect him on the court then perhaps he's not fit to lead a team. Maybe he should join another superstar player in a situation where he won't have to put a team on his back...oh wait... |

Are you arguing for LeBron or against him here? |

He quit. For 5 out of the million minutes he's played basketball. I dont really care all that much. Considering all the personal shit going on during the series, Im surprised he still played as well as he did. He avg'ed 27, 9, and 7 for that series. Shit I hope the Bulls and Heat can renew the rivalry as much as any Chicago fan, but Im not gonna take shots at the guy when Delonte and Jamario Moon coulda been running the train on Gloria in the hotel room next door during the conference semis this year. The guy's only human. |

my point being - look how that has remained with his legacy you just toss out stuff like "oh well he only quit for 5 minutes out of millions of minutes" if you quit at all, you're a quitter and going to Miami was the ultimate quitter move so it all makes sense |
