If Carmelo Anthony is traded to the Knicks or Nets then you can boost my prediction by five spots for each team. Also, cut me some slack if injuries occur. East- Teams two through four were very difficult to separate. 1. Miami Seventy wins isn't out of the question. Offensively unguardable. Team MVP- Lebron 2. Boston One last run for the Finals. The pressure is on Rondo more than ever before. Team MVP- Rondo 3. Chicago Boozer injury hurts, but season rests on Rose's leap to superstar. Team MVP- D-Rose 4. Orlando The top 3 teams got better while the Magic stayed the same. Team MVP- Dwight Howard 5. Bucks This could be a reach, but I doubt Jennings wears down like last year. Team MVP- B.Jennings 6. Hawks Could be the 3 seed, or could be 6th. Wins in the Southeast are gonna be hard to get. Team MVP- Joe Johnson 7. Sixers Sleeper pick. Landing Evan Turner was a nice complement to an already solid young nucleus. Team MVP-Andre Iguodala 8. Knicks Big fan of having Amare and Anthony Randolph on the floor at the same time. Team MVP- Amare Stoudemire or Carmelo Anthony 9. Bobcats Shaun Livingston, Kwame Brown, Darius Miles. Need I say more? Team MVP- D.J. Augustin 10. Wizards John Wall is good, and Captain Kirk is gonna teach him defense. Team MVP- John Wall 11. Pistons Somehow have B.Gordon, Rip Hamilton, and T-Mac trading shooting guard minutes. Team MVP- Ben Gordon 12. Nets No other bottom feeding East team features a duo like Devin Harris and Brook Lopez. Team MVP- Brook Lopez or Carmelo Anthony 13. Raptors I'm a big Linus Kleiza fan. Toronto won't play much defense, but they'll outscore and surprise some teams. Team MVP- Andrea Bargnani 14. Pacers Just bad. If it weren't for the Cavs, Indiana would be the worst team in pro basketball. Team MVP- Danny Granger 15. Cavaliers Minus Lebron. Maybe 15 wins. Team MVP- Mo Williams West- The crazy thing about the West is teams five thru eleven are pretty much interchangeable. 1. Lakers As long as Kobe's health holds up, the championship goes through them. Team MVP- Kobe 2. Thunder Look for a big jump from the Thunder this year. Kevin Durant is a one man wrecking crew. Team MVP- Durant 3. Spurs These old fogies aren't dead yet. They've got at least a couple more playoff appearances. Team MVP- Tim Duncan 4. Jazz Just trust me on this folks. The Jazz were trying to get rid of Boozer for a while. Paul Milsap will show you why. Team MVP- Deron Williams 5. Mavs Dirk better find some decent teammates before his prime reaches a conclusion. Team MVP- Dirk 6. Denver I don't see this team sniffing the playoffs without Carmelo. Team MVP- Carmelo or Chauncey Billups 7. Portland Great young talented team that cannot stay healthy. Team MVP- Brandon Roy 8. Memphis Look for Memphis to make a small leap this year to a consistent playoff participant. Team MVP- Rudy Gay 9. Houston The Ming dynasty is over. However, Houston does have quite the grindy team. Team MVP- Luis Scola 10. Phoenix At 36, Nash probably isn't surrounded by enough to make this team go to the conference finals again. Team MVP- Steve Nash 11. New Orleans Depending on how bad CP3 wants out, this team could finish 6th or 13th. Team MVP- Chris Paul 12. Minnesota Extremely young nucleus of players. If Beasley really is done puffing herb then look out, cus he can score at will for long stretches. Team MVP- Michael Beasley 13. Clippers Just not much good here. Hey, at least Jon Scheyer found a home. Team MVP- Baron Davis 14. Kings With one more Lottery pick this team will be back battling for the 8th spot. Team MVP- Tyreke Evans 15. Warriors Not the worst roster, but losing your coach, and revamping the entire philosophy in September is not a good omen. Team MVP- Stephen Curry NBA MVP- Kevin Durant ROY- Demarcus Cousins Finals- Heat vs. Lakers Champ- Seriously, I don't know. If it really ends up being Lakers vs. Heat, there is a strong possibility that series would come down to the last shot of Game 7. It'd be the first time since maybe the late 60's or early 70's where 5 of the best 15 players in the league would end up playing each other in the Finals. |

Where's Hova and Keeping Score when you need them? Cmon Bagels, dont be mad about the Hawks. The Southeast is no joke this year. |

Jbills- Thats a tough statement about the Pacers, but I think your right. I am with your thinking that Demarcus Cousins for Rookie of the Year. |

1. Miami 2. Orlando 3. Boston 4. Bucks 5. Hawks 6. Wizards 7. Bobcats 8. Cavaliers Bulls -- Thom Thibodeau finds out that when you're coaching 3 year NBA'ers vs future HOF'ers you can't get away with as much crap on defense and as a consequence the Bulls starting 5 spend a lot of time chilling on the bench in foul trouble. Noah, new paper in hand, regresses to the mean. Rose has an all-star caliber season but is nudged out of an all-star spot by Rondo and John Wall. Carlos Boozer comes up with new and creative ways to injure himself and proves a non-factor in the Bulls 2010-2011 campaign. Bulls luck out in the lottery and end up selecting Perry Jones with the #2 overall pick. |

as the lone resident sixers fan, i can only hope you're right JB. but we've been waiting for iggy to show up and he has never gotten past the "yeah he's decent" mark. he is not a superstar. you can't put that team on his back like you could with the real AI. turner had a bad summer league and i don't know how he's doing in preseason but i'm not too sure about his rookie year. they do have a young team but they have a sloppy team, too--though it didn't help that eddie jordan (another in a long line of wrong coaches at the wrong time) was there. maybe doug collins will work out but i always thought he was better when he already had a cohesive unit. |

Yeah man. I was big on Dre for a few years but I've convinced myself that he is what he is at this point. |

Douchebag wrote: The Magic just won there 21st preseason game in a row last night. This could be their year. No. Decent team but they need another "guy". I thought it could be Rashard Lewis, but it's not him. They should try to grab Carmelo. |

Not only did he pass on Lebron, but he let him fall to Keeping Score (who then fucked up his end of the deal) |
