-fucked up on Oden, probably will never play for them again -Roy unhappy with playing with Andre Miller, demanding one of them be traded -now major knee issues for Roy, in the beginning of a massive contract extension: Quote: Doctors have told the Blazers that Roy’s knee isn’t likely to improve and sources say the feeling within the organization is that he’ll never return to the 22-point per game, perennial All-Star he was the past two seasons. On top of that, Roy is in the first-year of a five-year, $82.3 million contract extension. And sources say his knees are not insured. I thought they should trade the pick (and no, I wasn't smart enough to see how good Durant could be). I liked Roy, loved LaMarcus Aldridge and wished on this here board that the Bulls had taken both players, in fact wished publically that the Bulls were run by Portland's GM. What confounded me was the Miller aquisition. Not becuase he's not good, in fact he's quite underrated. But it was an obvious mis-match. I didn't mind Steve Blake walking though, I think he's overrated-poor man's Kapn Kirk. I still think they're very talented and have a decent shot at making the playoffs, especially if Denver blows up and Phoenix continues on course. |

Chris Paul has a similar knee issue after having most all of the cartilage from his left knee removed in an operation earlier in the year. |
