I'm really looking forward to the Bulls/Knicks' game to tipoff the NBA's 2010 Christmas Day slate on the ESPN family of networks. Even though Amare Stoudemire is off to as hot a start as the Bulls' own Derrick Rose, I'm still thinking about how Knicks shot the basketball lights out in the only other meeting and Bulls' head coach Tom Thibodeau didn't bother putting his starters back in the game at United Center. I don't think the Knicks are nearly as good as what the "experts" would like us to believe and it would be nice if Rose and the Bulls got the "W" in the "World's Most Famous Arena", New York's Madison Square Garden, come 11a or so Christmas Day.

Phil, that 11a start time is to accommodate ESPN. TV dictates start times...You know that as well as I do!

Just wanted to make sure you were paying attention, Phil. That Heat/Lakers' game, which is the second game of the NBA/ABC doubleheader, should be a doozy as well. You know ABC executives in New York & ESPN bosses in Bristol, CT are hopeful that's your NBA Final in June.

I wish I could see the Bull game. The Nicks have been playing well. That is going to be a tougher game than I would like. I am predicting a 3 point Bull loss. Terry's Peeps got some good info on those other games tho.

I will try to catch the Bulls, but 11am on Christmas is a bit early. I might just be getting out of the shower by then.

It's almost time to get started! I haven't anticipated Christmas day basketball this much since I was a kid. The only thing that would make this better would be:

Yeah it has been and this game is a good showcase for why I am glad we got Boozer instead of Amare.
