The Magic obliterated the Hawks last postseason (25.3ppg differential). The Hawks won 3 of 4 against the Magic this year. The Hawks have lost 6 straight heading into the postseason. Out of every playoff team, the Hawks have the worst post all star break record at 10-17. The Magic have lost 4 games since March 16 by an avg of 4ppg. I'm sure of one thing in this series. The Hawks players are looking at Kirk Hinrich's locker wondering, "Why the fuck did we trade Jordan Crawford?" |

The more I look at this series, the more I understand why the Hawks aren't laughable underdogs. J.Collins can really play defense on Dwight Howard. Collins knows how to use his weight and maintains excellent position against Howard's power-based offensive game. Dwight got his points and rebounds against Atlanta, but in the 3 games ATL won Howard shot 45%, 42%, and 30% from the field (Career 57%FG). In the losses Howard averaged just under 5 fouls a game and almost 4 turnovers a game. If the Hawks can pull themselves together and rattle Howard enough, they could make this match-up interesting. |

When a guy has 31 points at halftime and his team is losing, sure makes you wonder "how good his team would be without him." |

My younger brother probably makes more money than me, but he steady runs out of gas everywhere. I had to run out to damn near I-88 and Route 47 to bring him a couple gallons. Fucker. Anyway... What the fuck happened to this game? How many points does Howard have? Why is that a technical? |

Mullin is good too, but he sounds like a recovering alcoholic. Probably because he is, but when he gets a coherent thought out it's usually decent info. |

Keeping Score wrote: I think Howard has like 35. At least he won't have to worry about picking up enough technicals to get suspended in the playoffs. The Magic will be lucky to make it out of this round....and if they even do...they'll never get out of the next round Great coaching by Larry Drew. Let Dwight get his, and see if the supporting cast can beat you. The Magic Play like they already know Dwight is leaving as a free agent. He's a great player. I know Hova doesn't think so, but I hope Howard can get a couple rings by the time he's done. |

The count for technicals needed for a suspension resets in the playoffs. So they want to get Howard up to 4 or 5 asap so that if Orlando challenges any of the Big 3 in the Eastern Conference, they can get him suspended for a game and hand the other team an easy W. |

80-69 Atlanta Jameer Nelson has 20 in the 3rd with a minute left. |

It would be an easy win for any one of the "Big 3".....with or without Dwight there. KS is right. Imagine if Dwight had another alpha player on his team? Half the foul trouble. stress, technicals. It's why he's leaving Orlando. It's why Lebron left. |

Isn't is Blazers/Dirk? Mavs the higher seed, but Portland favored to win. |

Keeping Score wrote: Maybe Dwight stays and Chris Paul comes to town?.......How long is that John Wall contract? Watch Howard's body language if this series starts to go real bad. He doesn't want to be in Orlando and not win. I respect that. I felt the same way about LBJ a year before he left Cleveland when the Cavs were bounced by.... Orlando. CP3 is more likely going to NY, IF his leg is fully healthy. The series against the Lakers is sort of a showcase for Paul's knee more than anything else. |

I heard or read somewhere that Dirk and Kobe have never played against each other in a playoff series. Not likely to happen this season, but seems like they should've at least once over the last 13 seasons. Tho Dirk only started making the playoffs 10 seasons ago. |

I hate that they aren't defined, I hate that people don't vote using the same criteria and I hate that they are "story" driven. DRose is my favorite baller in the association, but it's hard for me to justify him over Dwight and LBJ. Granted, this won't be as embarrassing for the league as when Nash won, so there is that. But at the same time, I am a meatball and love that we have the MVP and that he is amazing. |

101-90 Atlanta Dwight has 45pts, but Jamal Crawford doesn't care if there is 18 seconds left on the shot clock and his team is up 8 he will shoot that three to put the Hawks up 11 every time. Minute and change. |

Howard is a DB. Something tells me he is okay with the loss because he scored 46 points. He has no self control. |
