Can Stern fine ESPN for printing this story? |

Surprised this is a lead headline on ESPN.com... From the Comments section... "Tim Donaghy told the Feds that he would bet on the opposing team whenever Crawford officiated a Mavericks game... if that tells you anything. Here's an article about a radio interview Donaghy did talking about how Crawford was really proud that the Mavs lost every game he officiated because he hates Mark Cuban." http://www.dallasnews.com/sports/dallas ... s-4799.ece |

Comment section... "Mavs win 60% of their playoff games he doesn't ref, and only 11% (2-16) he does ref, over the past decade. The guy has been outed specifically by a former insider as having an anti-mavs bias. Ridiculous." |

Comments... "NBA conspiracies and the quality of NBA officiating is overstated. However, the NBA is really stupid on this one. Clearly, there is something going on here that the Mavs are above .500 in all other games but woefully terrible with Crawford or at the very least, there's a very strong appearance. The NBA could really help themselves out by not putting Crawford on Mavs games but instead, they feed the flames by having him work this game. Sometimes I wonder if Stern actually likes the attention on the officiating to draw interest in the game because everything he does only seems to make the problem worse." "There are a BILLION reasons to get Crawford out of the game. He thinks people paid good money to come see HIM. And he refs accordingly. Wants to be part of the game. Give the loser a ticket to the developmental league and forget about him." "Working with numbers all day I can honestly say there is more to this story. 2-16 with him officiating and 48-41 in other games is absolutely ridiculous. If it were something like 8-10 or even 6-12 I'd say they are just complaining. 2-16 though? Sorry but someone needs to look into this a little deeper." |

The bald headed guy who Donaghy said was too lazy to get up in the middle of the night to piss, so he'd piss into an ice bucket and leave it for housekeeping. I don't think it is him, but I could be wrong. |

I LOVE the fact that ESPN ended the article with a statistic against the betting line. |

I really don't like Joey Crawford though. He's definitely a great example of how a ref wants to be part of the show. |
