Aaron Gray: Aaron Gray opts out of deal, now a free agent

Aaron Gray has opted out of his contract with the Hornets for next season according to Marc J. Spears of Yahoo! Sports.
Gray's representation gave the team the news just hours after fellow big man David West also opted out of his deal. The Hornets are suddenly hurting for size with Carl Landry also scheduled to hit free agency, and it's likely that the team will need to address the situation before the start of next season.

Report: James Jones to be free agent
MIAMI -- Miami Heat guard-forward James Jones has advised the team he won't exercise his player option and will become a free agent, a person familiar with the situation said.

The person spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity Wednesday because the Heat had not confirmed Jones' decision.

Jones is an eight-year veteran who spent the past three seasons with the Heat. He averaged 5.9 points in 81 games last season and shot 43 percent from 3-point range for the Eastern Conference champions.

Under his contract, Jones would have been paid $1.4 million next season.

Panther is going to be sorry he made this decision. He's not going to get any meaningful deal, and the new CBA will probably lower any kind of potential salary he could be making next season. He should've just finished out his contract.

Bulls should make a move for him. He would be cheap, and be a nice addition off the bench.
