We'll keep this rolling all season. Charles Barkley calls today a must win for the Knicks. Oh how I missed him

I thought so too. The NBA easily has the best commercials of any league.

If Rondo had a jumper he'd be the best player in the NBA.

I like this Ian Shumpert kid on NY. He looks like he could play an important glue guy role for the Knicks this season.

Is there any hope left that he develops one? This has been a glaring need in his game for awhile. Seems like this is just who he is.

I think he'll gradually get slightly better. It took Kidd a decade to get a shot.

Boston could really struggle this season. Rondo will get them in the playoffs but they can't shoot threes and can't play defense inside. Usually that's a recipe for the lottery.

If the Knicks lose this game with Pierce not playing and the Celtics already average at best....

Shumpert joins Josh McDaniels and Ryan Fitzpatrick in the FF Curse of Fame. This is getting more powerful than the Madden or SI curse.

I know I've been the biggest Rondo fan here since I '07-'08 but he's a legit MVP candidate this year if he can average 20 ppg.

This goes to what me and rfdc were saying about Battier after the acquisition but James Jones helps them more than Battier does, just to give you an idea of just how little Battier means.

My goodness does Dallas look bad so far. Everyone looks out of sync. Hope they can make a game of it in the 2nd half.

It'll take Dallas a couple weeks to get their legs back and to get over the year after effect. I just hope we don't have to hear about the Heat "getting revenge" for last years Finals.

How did you not know that? It goes down in Undeserved White Guy Nickname lore with Fred "The Mayor" Hoiberg.

Man the twitter world is sucking the Heat cock today. You would think this one win guarantees them a title.

Over the last year my oldest daughter (7th grade) has really started to get into watching the NBA. The problem is her favorite team/player are Lakers/Kobe. :|

So I am hoping the Bulls put a whooping on the Lakers today, otherwise I am going to hear it for awhile.

I hear you but I think by now Kobe has rightfully earned the "most respected NBA elder" title. Unfortunately that last part will keep the Lakers out of the Finals.
