How much of a liability is Mike Brown? Would they be a better team without a coach? How many games has his poor game planning and adjustments cost them?

Not as many games as going from the triangle to the 2006 Kobe offense. This isn't Smush Parker and Kwame Brown. The offense should be flowing through Pau and the high post, with Bynum, Kobe, and Pau having equally the most touches. That's the by far the biggest difference. Defensively Brown's impact is noticeable and they are clearly better.

Mike Brown did get a one-game suspension for bumping an official in Saturday's game at Utah, and received a $25,000 fine by the NBA for not leaving the coach in a timely manner after the first-year Lakers' head coach got ejected. He won't coach tonight's Lakers/76ers' game in Philadelphia as a result of the suspension.

Asked and answered.

They're currently 7th in the West. I'm feeling pretty good about my no playoffs prediction. You got to figure that Minnesota will continue to play better ball, and the Lakers haven't even gone through the annual Bynum injury yet.

I still think they're gonna end up getting Dwight, but even if they don't I still think theyre in the playoffs. They're a game out of being 9th right now but only 1.5 games out of the 2 seed. I think it'll stay that tight all year.

I'm not going to count the Lakers out, but I'm not sure how much of a liability Mike Brown is either. I'd rather have him than his counterpart at STAPLES Center, Clippers' head coach Vinny Del Negro...

That was no accident, Bagels. The T-Wolves' Kevin Love might be getting a phone call from the NBA home office for that stomping vs. the Rockets.

I think he already got more than phone call.

Do you think they faxed him too?
